Fantastic hotelPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Relaxing ambiance, understated luxury, comfortable, helpful staff
Cons: Food and drink expensive
Location: Dead sea floating is about all there is to do, as well as relaxing but that was fine for one night stay
Loved everything about this hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities top class and environment spot on! It is expensive, including to eat and drink but worth the money. We (couple no kids) were after a relaxing break in some luxury and to enjoy the unique floating in the dead sea.

Beautiful hotel in stunning location.Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, rooms, cleanliness, quietness, dead sea and mud, peace!
Cons: Mattress seemed a bit hard.
Location: Mount Nebo is close by and Petra is a 6 hour round trip. As we just wanted to relax we did not leave the hotel so no traveling but plenty to do.
Do not hesitate, just book it. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a VIP. Little touches like welcoming juice and a towel, fruits handed out and cold face towels on the beach, cold water spraying and cleaning of your sunglasses. The staff are well trained and pleasant, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are good and plentiful. Free minibar and complimentary tea or coffee with your wake up call.

Fabulous Dead Sea JordanPosted Mar 17, 2014
The staff were really fantastic. They work together as a seamless team - 1 fabric. The list of standout employees is long. It is obvious that the management works hard, long hours and they have great understanding and respect for all levels of staff. My driver- Shadi the chatty, Spa- Christine the tiny, obelisk- Ms Manon the great, Mr Fadi the sphinx, Mary Joy the serenity, Jemarie the sun, Ibrahim the strong, housekeeping-Ms Kathy the happy, Ms Rowena the gentle, general hotel- Mr Tayel the everywhere!, Mr Murad the courageous, Ms Eman the Jordanian, Qais the smiley, Mr Nadeer (night mgr) the clever, Mr Mohammad (front desk mgr) the good, Mr Omar Badernah the King. These people and some 500 others behind the scenes silently succeeding. It was MY honour to stay and be cared for by you. I shall miss you all. A true pleasure.

Great Holiday Mix of Sun, Beach and History aroundPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Offer a specific Jordan/Arabic Food experience in one restaurant rather than Asian, Thai, Italian….I do have these the whole year around me.
Location: Location is standalone with 4 other hotels, not a lot around
The hotel was all in all absolutely great and different to those we had done in the past.

A Little Bit of ParadisePosted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Everything was beautiful, no matter where we chose to dine the food & views were awsome. We loved our Driver and transportation & our new room w/AC.
Cons: The reaction to customer complaints. Two out of the 6 nights we stayed I slept comfortably. Expected better from a hotel of this stature.
Location: The Baptism Site, the Hot Springs, Swim in the Dead Sea
The hotel was amazing. Our trip started with the car the hotel sent. We arrived at the hotel it was as if they were waiting on us to arrive. They addressed me by name, greeted us with moist towel to freshen up from the trip, and juice. They were the most courteous staff I've ever encountered. The they took us to our room it was beautiful, the only problem was it was stuffy but found the thermostat, I was releived. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work properly so by morning time we were uncomfortable. Since we had a patio we just opened the glass door to cool off. The next night it was worse so we complained to the conciere and a repairman was sent. When we returned from a trip we came to realize the air hadn't been fixed, we complained again. The repairman came to repair it & told us it will be working in 30 min, he never returned to check. We were so tired from our daily excursion that we fell asleep and sweat all evening. In the morning we told the manager and he said while were were out on another trip they would fix it or move us. When we returned to the room that evening it was actually 1 degree cooler. My husband and I complained the next morning when the temperature went back up through the night. By this time I was getting really tired not sleeping well and going on trips during the day. So the next day I complained again to the concier and was still fussing in the car when the driver heard me and made a call to the hotel. When we got to the hotel we moved.
