“Low quality food at the hotel”
The biggest problem of this hotel - food quality. Breakfast was poor, even Holiday Inn Dead Sea has a much better choice and presentation. Pizza in italian restaurant was not-eatable at all. Portion of Martini - 40 ml for 7 EUR!!! Bottle of the cheapest and just average Pino Grigio - 52 EUR (you'll find the same for 2 EUR in your supermarket at home, ha-ha-ha). Waiters - absolutely nonprofessional, they know only two types of wine - white and red. Service was unacceptable for Movenpick chain. Next time I will stay at Kempinski Istar - yes, it costs two times more, but deserve it's price for 200%.
“Excellent Family or Couple vacation spot”
This hotel offers something for everyone. Wide variety of restaurants, beautiful grounds and views. The internet service wasn't too reliable. We will defintely tell our friends about it and will return someday!
“a place that can be revisited”
Nice place and layout. Good spa and facilities, but the pillows are not comfortable.
“OUTSTANDING IN EVERY RESPECT”
The Hotel is beautiful- and alol of the staff were very helpful and accomodating
“It is what you would expect”
Very good hotel with great service. The spa treatments are average but the service in the spa is good. Mediocre massages and treatments that you can get better elsewhere in the world for cheaper. It is nice to float in the Dead Sea and the hotel food and service are up to par. Just be prepared to relax and do nothing and enjoy just "being there". Seriously reconsider if you are going to Jordan for the spa experience only. Most of them are just plain average. Oh, and hope you like cats. They are everywhere and friendly sometimes very vocal...
“relax”
Large complex needs some walking , but facilities are great . Layout of pools, etc is nice . Heated pool great for kids - jacuzzis for the parents. Food has wide offering for buffet . italian restaurant provides great food. Very attentive personell from restaurant to life guards at pools. We ( 6yr daughter plus parents) had a lovely time .
“Dead Sea Movenpick Nice view and spa”
The hotel was very nice overall. There were tons of pools to select from. Breakfast was very bland and bad coffee. Also, if breakfast is not included it is expensive. It was slow checking in. Restraunts close around 10:30 and we didn't get into late, felt rushed. Bed was not comfortable, because right side was tilted. View was fantastic! Spa was amazing!
“I would recommend this to anyone”
The dead sea is a place to see and this is the hotel you want to stay when you go there. Nice ambiance, access to the beach, all staff is very service oriented and the SPA is managed in a superb way. Other tourist attractions are reachable by car and the hotel can arrange for that if you don't have your own contacts. Of course all this comes to a certain price, but it's worth.
“Nice location and beach front but the actual room was bad”
We stayed here at Movenpick at the beginning of our trip and then stayed at the neighboring Dead Sea Resort at the end of our trip. The Movenpick had very nice beach front and swimming pools. So basically the areas open to guest were nice but the actual room wasn't very good. The A/C didn't work and the power went out totally in the night. We had to call maintenance in the night to get the fan working again. It was strange as it was only our room that lost power. Also some of the rooms are close to a road so that isn't nice either. In contrast the Dead Sea Resort had much nicer rooms with better working A/C etc. but the shared areas such as pools and beach front weren't as nice as the Movenpick.
“SERVICE OF EXCELLENCE”
NO DOUBT TO RECOMMEND STAY IN THIS HOTEL. High quality service of Movenpick hotel satisfied my expectation. Clean and friendly enviroment gives to hotel the highest mark from the guests. I travelled alone but I didn¨t feel lonely because of care and interest from everybody in the hotel. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL STAFF THERE.
