“Cannot praise enough!”

Brilliant hotel with first class staff. A holiday for 3 people plus flights cost no more than £3000 with free breakfast and minibar! For a similar hotel in Dubai I would have been paying twice that amount or even Sharm. Jordan is a beautiful country with extremely humble people and first rate weather in December......ideal location to get away from the rat race. Food is brilliant and the weather through our stay in December(over Xmas period) was bright and sunny and hovering around 23 Celsius. I think Jordan is a hidden gem and its not the first place you think of when deciding upon a holiday. Everyone just goes for the hype surrounding Egypt/Dubai/Turkey etc.

“Excellent Family or Couple vacation spot”

This hotel offers something for everyone. Wide variety of restaurants, beautiful grounds and views. The internet service wasn't too reliable. We will defintely tell our friends about it and will return someday!

“Dead Sea Movenpick Nice view and spa”

The hotel was very nice overall. There were tons of pools to select from. Breakfast was very bland and bad coffee. Also, if breakfast is not included it is expensive. It was slow checking in. Restraunts close around 10:30 and we didn't get into late, felt rushed. Bed was not comfortable, because right side was tilted. View was fantastic! Spa was amazing!

“An Oasis on the Dead Sea”

Upon checking in we were promptly greeted and upgraded from our standard room to a larger room with access to the private swimming pool area which was a very nice treat. The grounds are well maintained and restaurants are of good quality though can be expensive. Our rate included breakfast which was very good. The Asian restaurant requires a minimum bill of 50 JD, although there are other options as well. The pool areas are nice, though the only complain is the flies which seem to be everywhere around the Dead Sea especially as we headed south, so not much the resort can do about that problem. Location is in the main hotel area and easy to get to. Overall the Moevenpick Resort Dead Sea is a great break from the normal sightseeing in Jordan.

“Great hotel”

Probably the best hotel in the dead sea resort area, that is reflected in the price but is definitely not that expensive for a hotel of this standard. Spa/swimming pool is very nice and it is on the shore of the dead sea so no problems taking a dip. To save some money in the spa dont get a mud wrap, they have pots of the stuff by the sea so you can put some on and jump in to wash it off. It has multiple restaurants so there will be something of everyone's liking on site. Overall very pleasing and relaxing.

“Mediocre breakfast”

The hotel itself was very nice. Overall the staff was friendly. The guy that checked us in the first day was a little condescending. For a 5 star hotel, the quality of the food at the breakfast buffet was mediocre. The food service was very disorganized; poorly managed. The food items were not replenished well. They ran out of many items even though we went at various times of the morning. The coffee was terrible. We had a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant however.

“Movenpick experience”

Being an upscale resort in a third world country has it's challenges. Movenpick has done a wonderful job of giving quality in a difficult environment. The grounds, pools, restaurants are beautiful. The hotel is showing it's age a little in old TVs and wear and tear in hidden areas. We ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed the food, variety and service very much. The staff was always very helpful and friendly.

“Dead Sea was incredible”

We stayed here over New Year's holiday and the weather was perfect. Food was great and service and amenities were first rate. We would go back here again.

“A great location”

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff and a man at the front offered us a drink of lemon, which was delicious. The service was quick and efficient and the front desk staff, valet and people who brought the bags friendly and helpful. I thought the buffet dinner was a bit lacking in variety but there was still a selection. There are also other eating places on the premises which were fine. The room was comfortable and nicely situated and the surroundings were wonderful. Several pools were available for use and the winter pool was lovely and warm. The Dead Sea swim is a must and the water is warm. A great place to make visits to other Jordanian sights. I enjoyed the stay.

“Great Place to Stay”

Movenpick Dead Sea represents good value for money on the room rates. The location is fantastic right on the shores of the amazing Dead Sea and the accommodation quality is high. The spa facilities are comprehensive and suit a range of budgets. Jordanian staff are friendly and professional in most cases. The resort is very comfortable and well maintained. There are many swimmimg pools overlooking the Dead Sea at the various levels stepping down to the beach. I went with my two daughters and we had a ball.
