Not nice.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: It had vacancies.
Cons: Brighten the place up. Coffee facilities. Dry the carpet floor!
Location: Lovely area. Very out-doors though.
I only stayed here because my other accommodation fell through. Over a slightly rickety wooden bridge from the road there is ample parking. The reception/breakfast area is fairly bare. The room was dark, smelled a little of damp, and had a damp floor (I kid you not). The beds & bathroom seemed clean enough though. There were no coffee making facilities in the room, or in the reception area. Breakfast was basic, including a single shared tub of butter. It was fairly cheap, and you get what you pay for (in fact, I'm not sure I even got that). Disappointing.

Rude is Rude

Owner of this hotel was one of the most confrontational, rudest persons I have ever encountered in my life.

Nice quiet hotel, decent distance from town

Posted Aug 18, 2014
We recently spent 4 nights here. We were a bit apprehensive booking online but were very happy with the outcome. We were driving a classic car which the owner suggested we park under the canopy during our stay for extra protection. We really appreciated that. We were also happy to have the pool as it was very hot during our stay and after touring around it was nice to come back and have a refreshing dip in the pool each day. The trolley service to town that came twice an hour was a bonus and we used it every day. We will definitely stay here again.

Spend $10 extra and stay at a chain hotel

The ice machine was broke, the continental breakfast was a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter and they say the town trolley comes by twice an hour. Well I waited an hour and it didn't come.

Minimal Motel

This was one step better than a tent. Very over priced for what it was. If a campsite had a view it would have been a better bargain.

I don't advise

Posted Aug 2, 2014
I wasn't expecting much and it was worse than expected. Staff was friendly but hotel rooms are small, poor lighting and small bathrooms, there were used qtips on the floor in the room, outdated, no wifi in the rooms it was just in the main reception. Stale bread. Not worth the money

You get what you pay for!

Staff are helpful and friendly, but rooms and facilities are tired! I should have guessed from the room rate...yes, breakfast included, but no hairdryer in room.
