Hotel

Pros: It was okay.
This Hampton was a little on the worn side. They did not except Hampton Rewards like others have where we have stayed. The swimming pool and fitness center are in the basement which seemed a bit spooky.

Location: Good location. Within walking distance of local attractions.
Everything was fine. Good location, nice room, casino close, buffet pretty good.

Awkwardly proportioned hotel wrapped in a casino.

Pros: That I did not stay a 4th night.
Location: Downtown Deadwood is folkloric.
Breakfast area cramped. Beds not really 'made', but the covers sort of pulled into place.

Nice hotel poor layout of casino

Posted May 31, 2014
The hotel was nice but the layout plan for the casino and restaurant was poor. We played in the casino on one end and the gentleman had to run back to the other end to get drinks. Didn't like waking thru restaurant to get to the other part of the casino. The hotel was good and clean. People were friendly willing to help out.

Great Stay!

Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: Quiet rooms! didn't hear people walking about in the halls or the rooms next door.
Cons: pool and fitness area.
Location: Casinos everywhere. museums in walking distance. short drive to Mt Rushmore or Crazy Horse.
The room was quiet and comfortable. The pool looks a lot bigger in the photo and the fitness center is a treadmill and stationary bike. Our room had a decent view of the ridgeline. The Hotel restaurant served a very good buffet. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit.
