NoisyPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The wall mounted AC unit was very loud, made sound sleep difficult. The refrigerator had a nasty buzz to it when running, went away when I put my laptop PC on top. Thin walls made next door neighbors' activity part of ours. On the plus side, the breakfast was quite good, got each day off to a great start.

Close by I-90 for just a over-night stayPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
For just an overnight this is ok, but not for a longer stay. Close to I-90. Breakfast was a joke, just some bread and juice.

Close to interstate but needs improvement!Posted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The king size bed had only 2 pillows and they were very hard foam, very uncomfortable. The air conditioner made a very bad noise all night. Didn't get any rest and when you pay that much for a room and the accommodations were very uncomfortable. They also didn't state how to connect to the wi-fi. The room was very clean so the staff was efficient. The accommodations the cheap stuff needs an upgrade! There needs to be at least 4 pillows of different softness as everyone is different.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel, and for noticing the good work out housekeepers do. I certainly hope you informed the front desk of the issues you encountered, as we cannot fix things if we don't know there is a problem. The reason we do not state how to connect to the wi-fi is because it is "open", so there is no password for it. We appreciate your input on the pillows, and we will take that into consideration as we are always seeking ways to improve.

stop-overPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was fine for a stop-over on our way through. Indoor pool gives hotel a muggy feel. But it was a hot day.

Disappointing hotelPosted Jul 6, 2013
Pros: worst hotel I've stayed at.
Cons: Room could have adequate air conditioning. The pool area needs air conditioning and more needs to be done than just propping the outside door open.
Location: Beautiful drive in a canyon between Spearfish and Sturgis.
As we entered the hotel to check in the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke and being I'm allergic to smoke I started to react to it. We were assured the rooms were non smoking and our room did smell OK. Our door passcards didn't work - so we had to go back to the front desk to get them programmed. To enter our room we walked through the swimming pool area which was so hot, you could hardly breathe. The air conditioners in the rooms around the pool were vented out into the pool area therefore making it very hot. It would of been enjoyable to take a cool dip in the pool but with the air so hot you couldn't stand to be in this room. Our living room was cool but the bedroom was not. There was a filthy fan on the floor that worked on one speed to help move the air back to the bedroom. We didn't know until our third morning at the hotel that complimentary breakfast was served. I guess we should of asked..but usually we are told by the desk clerk when you check in. For the money it was a very outdated hotel.
