Best Super 8!Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Bedding, hot tub (nice & hot)
Location: Deadwood. Trolley took you down to main street so everything was close!
Very clean, beautiful bedding, wonderful staff. Loved that it was on a trolley line so we didn't have to drive into town!

Value for money in a scenic settingPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Everything - exceptional customer service personnel, great new modern facilities, and free breakfast and wi fi.
Cons: I would have appreciated having a refrigerator in the room.
Location: We ate at the Gluch Casino a little higher up the road.
We enjoyed our stay at Super 8 in Deadwood. It has been recently renovated and boasted most facilities - free breakfast and wi fi, tea / coffee facilities, casino, all in a lovely setting beside Whitewood Creek. Our room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern with even a dispenser for shampoo and soap. We would definitely recommend it to couples.

It was better than I expectedPosted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: I liked the area that it was in as well as the room itself.
Cons: I wish that they had better tasting coffee.
Location: There is Deadwood city an old west town with reenactments of shoot-outs in town. Sturgis is nearby for the motorcycle enthusiasts. Mount Rushmore .
When we arrived to this motel we could tell that it was a nice place. It was nestled at the foot of a mountain with a running stream behind the motel. On the other side of the stream was a jogging trail that was really nice. All of the staff were friendly and the room was very clean. They have a casino on the other end of the motel and an indoor/outdoor breakfast area overlooking the stream outdoors.

Great for familyPosted Jun 10, 2013
Pros: room, breakfast, patio, pool
We really enjoyed this hotel. The pool was great for our kiddo; the casino was nice for my husband, and we were able to order dinner from the casino and eat by the pool. In the morning we had breakfast on the patio and listened to the creek. Nice staff, nice room, nice pool, good food. Can't ask for more.

Always stay here !Posted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Reasonable rates, decent rooms, free food and drinks while playing slots. Have had good luck winning here !! Trolley service right to door.
Cons: Queen room was a bit small, but not the norm.
Location: Trolley takes you anywhere in town.
We return to the Super 8 every time we are in Deadwood. Good luck at the slots in their casino over the years. Friendly staff and nice for the money.

Great for hunters! :)Posted Nov 12, 2012
Pros: The bed and having breakfast offered to us at such an early time
We came up from Laramie and Cheyenne wy to hunt in Sundance wy. We got up early and they had breakfast set out for us. At night when we gambled they made sure we were taken care of. Had no problems with checking in or out. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable!!! Next year for our hunting trip I'm sure that's where we will stay again. Thank you for a wonderful experience. :)

smoking rms stink!Posted Aug 23, 2012
Pros: this time - can't think of anything good
Cons: smoking rooms
Booked non-smoking with Expedia, got there and had smoking rm and no non-smoking rms available. room stunk so bad it was disgusting! staff wasn't accommodating this time; wanted to charge us an extra $36 on the 2nd night to get a rm. with two double beds instead of the stinky smoking rm. with one queen bed! it was on the street side and you could hear everything in parking lot and on street. they blamed expedia for the mix-up in the rm., but didn't really care to make it right either. checked out early, went to Rapid City and stayed at the Holiday Inn express in a king suite with jacuzzi tub and it smelled wonderful and was beautiful!

Our stay at the Deadwood Super 8.Posted Aug 22, 2012
Pros: The continental breakfast along with the friendly staff, clean rooms and grounds were the favourites.
Our four night stay was very enjoyable. We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast on the deck over looking a stream every morning. The staff always friendly and helpful. A very warm and safe atmosphere. Clean...yes...inside and outside.
