Nice hotel close to creek and trolleyPosted Jul 29, 2015
Had a room facing the creek. Nice deck on back of hotel facing creek which was very refreshing. Their hot breakfast was complimentary but not giving it high ranks. Older hotel but has been redecorated so very comfortable. Nice little casino and snack bar as well

Scenic spot - good breakfastPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: The view and outdoor patio area and the fact that it was a designated stop on the city trolley route. Very convenient.
Cons: Didn't experience any problems.
Location: A little removed from downtown, but the trolley made it easy to get around. A little quieter in the evenings, being away from Main Street.
Motel had an outdoor patio area that overlooked a mountain stream, adjacent hiking trail, etc. The patio was a beautiful spot to eat breakfast, have coffee, or evening beverages. Best part of breakfast was the yummy caramel rolls. Room was comfy, view out of our window was very scenic. The café area within the casino was great for a quick sandwich, prices very reasonable compared with uptown restaurants. Some casino games on-site, (mostly slots and a video blackjack table). Pool and hot tub were available. We utilized the trolley system for most of our stay. It took us to rodeo grounds, several stops on Main Street, etc.

Nice MotelPosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Easy access from parking lot & street. Quiet. Trolly stopped right out front! Reasonable price for the area.
Cons: Would like to see a movie channel on the TV. Not much to watch.
Once we found the motel it was very nice. Room was ready when we arrived. Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Nice breakfast area and friendly people on staff. Pool looked good although we didn't have time to use it. Road construction to the motel was a bummer. Also, no place to eat in the immediate area (fast food or otherwise)

Great stay for family of 4!Posted Jul 13, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay here while vacationing in the Black Hills. The room would have been better had we been creek side and there was road construction if you head in from Deadwood. The room is very eye appealing, and the kids loved the pool. It was nice to have a casino on site since this was a family vacation and we didn't have time for downtown Deadwood. Breakfast was good and the hills made for a beautiful view off the front door, and of course the creek was beautiful.

Great for the pricePosted Jun 28, 2015
My wife and I typically stay at higher end hotels, but were pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place was. We enjoyed the cleanliness, the staff, and abundance of amenities. If your just looking for a place to lay your head and play some slots, or sit on the back balcony with a pizza and glass of wine, this is your place. We intentionally avoided the big casino crowd to stay here, as we were more focused on the memorial sites and touring.

Very nice hotel, with a great location.Posted Apr 19, 2015
The room here was very clean and functional. It was a bit small, but plenty big enough for just spending the night. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've had in a chain hotel....fresh baked cinnamon rolls, boiled eggs, waffles. Of course, the other breakfast staples were also available. I liked it that there were glass mugs for the coffee and not Styrofoam cups! The local trolley stops right in front of the hotel, so we could get on it and go into town rather than driving in and trying to find parking. The hotel is far enough from downtown that you don't have all the street noise. The gal at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful! We will definitely stay here the next time we go to Deadwood!
