Whenever I'm in Detroit, I feel like I'm on the set of Omega Man. These huge facilities, the futuristic dreams of a past civilization. Like this hotel. A bit tawdry, a little down on its luck. Maybe a little eerie if you've got to walk the corridors alone. But pretty darn cool. It's got the oddest hotel pool I've ever been in. And one of the jets in the hot tub shoots water several feet into the air.

Desk clerk was nice. Room was a non smoking room but smelled of smoke. Carpet was old, snagged and baggy. Shower curtain smelled as if it was in the washer too long - mildewish. Other than that it was ok.

Booked this hotel for three days, but had to check out and return home after only one day. Convenient location, clean, pleasant hotel with a very good free breakfast bar. Wish we could have stayed longer.
