Amazing!
We had. Great experience as a family. Beautiful spa with a warm pool (long enough to swim laps), jacuzzi, sauna, etc. Kids area with slide and other games which kept them distracted for a few hours and to top it off, an amazing breakfast! Fresh strawberry smoothies, pancakes and a great continental selection.

Good enough but Could be better for 5 stars hotel
The coffee in the room is extra charge, first time I see something like that. Garage parking is extra paid 10€ / night. I found a broken chair in the room. Everything else was fine, clean, quiet, great breakfast.

Great BUT, I'd love to take away half a star because when I checked in my key card did network and I had to go back down to have them reset it, and my room faced the back which was technically almost right above the trash (in NO way there should be trash under any hotel room window of this caliber, so that was very dissapointing

Underwhelming experience due to the lack of hospitality mindset and initiative among the staff. Some staff members have shown very poor attitude and zero pro-activeness. The hotel is trying to do too many things at the same time and the quality is missed all over. One prime example is breakfast with four types of honey but no basic food items 40 min before closing time. They do not deliver a 5 star experience, 3 star at best, 4 stars with the physical facilities. We stayed for 6 days and not one staff member asked how our stay has been. The location is wonderful with the surrounding parks. Good connections to the rest of the city, and good parking.

The hotel is nice. But the main reason I booked it, because I wanted to use its wellness facilities. But all the wellness facilities, including pools, jacuzzi, sauna, close at 8 pm only on the weekends! During the week they are open till 10 pm. After sightseeing the whole day and I was so much looking forward to the hot pools, but they were closed at 8pm on Saturday.This way the hotel is way overpriced! I strongly suggest to the managements to have the wellness open till 10 pm specially on weekends!!!!

Nice hotel but more 3* than 5*.
This is a good hotel which I thought was more of a 3* hotel than the 5* it claims to be. My room was good, large and clean with a balcony, however, there was a lack of charging points. The minibar was well stocked. The restaurant was nice without being exceptional and I chose to eat out after I’d tried it twice. It’s situated across from a park with nice walks. I would recommend this hotel but don’t expect the little touches which would elevate it to a 4* or 5*

Convenient hotel to tram stop and hospital
Hotel Divinus was very close to the tram stop and Debrecen Hospital. The 25 m pool was wonderful and deserted. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to downtown along a beautiful street. I felt very safe in this area.

The property is locating in the heart of the “big forest”. The air quality is excellent. Unfortunately the wellness center closed at 8 o’clock. The pillow quality is pretty poor, from a five-star hotel I would expect feather pillows and blankets.

Had everything I needed
The room was nice and big with a massive bed! Overall the room had everything I needed - the only thing I missed was having a bath tub but that wasn't a deal breaker as the shower was nice and big. The hotel is situated right next to a massive park which was lovely to go for a morning run around and I'd imagine it is lovely to spend time in during the summer months. The zoo and the stadium is close by and the town centre is an easy 25 minute walking away so overal a good location. I was very happy with my stay.

Hotel Divinus is a modern hotel north of downtown Debrecen adjacent to a large park. Its location is not central, but the park's vicinity makes it a great spot for relaxation. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff was always courteous and attentive. We had to pay extra for parking in the garage. The cleanliness and condition of the hotel were good, but we ran into problems regarding services. First, the wifi signal was basically non-existent in our room. At this age having no internet in the room is simply unacceptable. Second, the hotel chose to put some custom made liquid soap dispenser in the shower, which was not refilled after the first day of stay, so we had to use liquid hand soap in the shower on the second day. Considering these two very annoying issues, I was contemplating giving only 2 stars for service quality, however I decided to raise that score to 3 stars due to the delightful pools the hotel offers in its wellness center.

The hotel has an overall very nice appearance, the pool and fitness room were great, but the floor in my room was a bit dirty (with cheese doodles from the previous guest under the desk) and the drain the bathroom shower did not work and had to be fixed (which they promptly did after I called).

Very Nice Hotel in Debrecen
This is one of the very nice hotels in Debrecen! It's right across the street from a stop on the local bus line, grocery store and a few restaurants. By bus, it's only about a 10 ride to the downtown area of Debrecen. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices and is very good, nice bar, most front desk staff speak english, and there is a very convenient and secure parking garage.
