“Another great stay”
We usually stay at this hotel when we're in Decatur. It is consistently clean and comfortable. There were nice choices at breakfast (biscuits/gravy, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, bagles, juice, fruit). No complaints at all.
“Decatur Celebration 2010”
The hotel was clean, and the people friendly. The pool area was open to like midnight...that was very cool, because we were there for Decatur Celebration and even after getting back to the hotel kinda late, you could still get in the hot tub and relax before bed. The decatur Celebration was right straight down the road about 6 miles. Hotel was Located right accoss the street from a big mall, plenty of restaurants. But don't eat if you are going downtown to the Celebration...TONS of food everything you could ever want down there!!
“Well appointed, but bring breakfast”
Our suite was spacious and clean, and at check-in we were offered a third floor room, most distant from a noisy convention group. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. I am a diabetic, and all of the food options were high carbohydrate, which left me needing to buy breakfast elsewhere. Bring your own yogurt, cheese or hard-boiled eggs.

We really like this chain of hotels and find it always satisfactory. The room was not as clean as I would have liked, but it was not dirty by any means. Beds were very comfortable. Continental breakfast was expected. We went to Milliken U. for a college visit and this would be our hotel of choice if we are back in Decatur.
“Best in the area!”
Our daughter is a Jr. at Millikin in Decatur, so we have had many opportunities to stay in this area. This is our favorite by far! It was recently updated & it appears that they are trying to move away from the country theme but it has a very comfortable feel. The beds are great...one of the few in the area that have Queens. My only regret ws that they took away some of the breakfast foods at 9:00, but we got the waffles which we love.
