We came to Stone Moutain to be close to Atlanta. Perfect! Didn't get much time to do activities on the grounds but there's plenty to do. This hotel was very comfortable. As far as coffe Starbucks in the lobby. I didn't eat at the hotel.

Overpriced

Pros: Being on the lake
Cons: Lower the cost of the room
Location: Stone mountain
Buffett limited and cold and $$. The room was lovely and clean and did look over the lake. But Biltmore Inn in Asheville NC was the same price and the Buffett there was stunning and the room was glorious.

Wonderful Hotel

Family trip from Boston with kids and grandparents. Everyone was happy. Kids loved the heated outdoor pool and the hot tub. The staff was excellent. Elaine in the pub downstairs was fantastic. We will definitely stay there again.

Location: We were very disappointed in how commercial the park has become and how expensive it is for a family to do anything there.
Hotel was great. disappointed in the park. had hoped to ride the train around the mountain but was unable to unless we paid for the entire package offered by the theme park.

Country Mountain Jamboree.

Pros: Nothing the staff is slow it took 1hr 25min to get extra towels.I called and had to go down to the front desk.
Cons: Update the entire place.Food buffet is overpriced for what it is.
The hotel staff was overwhelmed.They called themselves a full service hotel.The sevice sucked.I requested a rollaway bed on expedia.The blamed expedia that the request never went through even though I showed them on my expedia account.So 3 people slept in 1 king size bed,because the only other rooms they had were twin beds.The hotel is old and overpriced for what it is.Stay in Atlanta better options are in a big city.

Nice hotel but poor service

The hotel was nice but we asked for a roll-away bed when I booked the room. Then I called 5 hours before I got there to make sure they have it available. They said we would have the roll-away bed in our room ready when we got there. When I get there tired at 10:30 PM after travelling they said there are non available; they would bring this other thing for my daughter to sleep on that attaches to the bed. We waited, and waiting, and eventually called guest services they said they would bring it and it never comes after waiting well over an hour. Speaking to management was useless. They basically said my daughter can sleep on the floor or we could check-out and go elsewhere. Then the next morning it took 40 minutes to get a coffee at the cafe because only 1 person was working at the counter. Then it took them another 40 minutes to find our 'free' breakfast pass that we paid for when we booked the room.

Great location on Stone Mountain

We stayed at the hotel during the month of December. Made a great choice when I booked online . The hotel location was awesome and very clean . The staff was great . Very friendly and helpful . Rooms was very clean , good size, I just wished it has at least small sofa bed . Our group was 2 adults and 3 kids . Beds were queen size but a little to small to accommodate 3 kids . We felt very safe since the area is continuously monitored by police . Overall it was a great experience . The kids had a great time and enjoyed the in door pool very much .
