“Would go back again!”

We stayed with our 3 year old and 3 month old. We were running late due to airline difficulties, so we arrived around midnight. We had called ahead to ask to have the crib set up which it was with a sheet and blanket too! Our 3 year old loved swimming in the pool, we enjoyed the books to read in the front lobby, the daily cookies were a treat for us, and the breakfast hit the spot for us (waffles, cereals, eggs, biscuits, fresh fruit, yogurts, muffins, toast, and bagels). The staff was friendly and helpful. Whenever I was getting breakfast or trying to open my room door carrying my 3 month old, they would offer to help me. The only issue was little black gnats that flew in through the air conditioning. They had placed a letter explaining the problem and that they were working on it. It wasn't a big deal, but a little bothersome. I would definitely stay there again! We felt welcomed.

Clean, neat, good internet connection, good service, yummy cookies and deer wandering in the vegetation behind the hotel. Very convenient.

“expedia's fault”

Expedia confirmed that we had a reservation for 5 people in one room (rollaway bed and enough space for it), but of course we did not. When we got there we found we could upgrade to a bigger, more expensive room if we wanted. Luckily, they let us put the rollaway bed in the regular room--but expedia was 100% at fault for this. I will definitely try not to use expedia again, since next time I will still have 3 kids in the room with us. The hotel itself was great. Perfect location, clean, great pool, great breakfast.

“Great Clean Hotel with good breakfast.”

This hotel was well-kept, clean, with friendly staff. Breakfast was more than "continental" with a hot breakfast option (sausage/egg burritos) on the day we were there. Didn't use pool area, so can't comment on that. Would definitely stay there again!

“Impressed”

The staff at the Country Inn could not have been more courteous, professional and helpful. I'm going to strongly recommend this hotel to my family members who will be visiting Decorah in the future. Kudos to everyone involved.
