A Holiday Getaway with a Musical Greeting

We truly enjoyed another stay at The Dedham Hilton. From the seasonal musical greeting at the entrance to a quiet and relaxing room, we continue to appreciate the staff and logistics of this hotel.

Cons: bath room was tired. Shower head not good.
Nice enough but in need of new shower head . Close to Newbridge on the charles

They all were replaced earlier this as a part of being environmentally friendly. They simply have not worked out and will replaced. I was glad to see the location worked well for your needs. Pros: The staff was very nice. I especially liked the gym offerings/classes each morning.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room could be improved. Also, there is no bedside table/ lamp on the left of the farthest double bed. Not good.
Location: Location was tricky, but many amenities are nearby.
The staff was very pleasant and tried to be accommodating and helpful. The gym was pretty nice, and I was able to take fitness classes in the hotel each morning, which was awesome. Both Spinning and the muscle class were great, and the instructors were very welcoming. Loved the fun we had at the lounge on "Thanksgiving Eve" as well.

Good spot and cheaper than other. Is very nearly to the train to downtown Boston! It took a 18 minut to arrive to downtown boston

Nice hotel

Pros: Was clean.
Cons: correct online info
Location: was convenient to everything.
The room was clean, but the window was broken and was letting cold air in. The heat thermostat could not be changed. On line was posted that a microwave was available, and was not.

family reunion

Pros: It was very comfortable for our family to meet and spend time together in the lobbies and public area's
Cons: More parking is needed. The whirlpool should have been repaired in a timely manor on Sunday morning
It was comfortable for our family reunion. We had breakfast in the restaurant and lunch was ordered and served near the bar. The major shortcoming was the limited parking. There were more than enough parking spots for the hotel guests. But, the large conventions that were in progress strained the parking lots causing us to ride around for ten minutes within three or four lots before we found a spot..

Unexpected Inconvenience

Upon arrival, we couldnt figure out where to park and had to go back into the lobby 2 times to ask as the entire parking area was under construction and parking was extremely confusing. Had to entry building in a very dark poorly lit space at the complete opposite end of the building without the use of an elevator had to carry our full luggage up stairs. We were to have both refrigerator and microwave in room and were told after entering the room the microwave would add $15/nt to the cost. Other than Lawrence, the staff was generally pleasant. Lawrence seemed put off if he had to answer a question. We had one meal at the Hotel lounge ordering off the menu handed to us and upon receiving the bill, both items we ordered were billed at a higher rate than that on the menu. When brought to their attention, they attempted to explain how they gave me an outdated menu and proceeded to ask me if I would like the total changed. Seriously?? Service is the basis for any business success or failure, and they need to regroup on the general approach to customer service. There were many of the staff who were actually quite nice, but the few bad left a bad impression for all.

The parking garage (cleaning and striping) was a bit of an inconvenience for all of our guests and was planned in advance. The garage work along with many other renovations are on-going in order to improve the property for all of our guests. With that being said we are trying to limit any major inconveniences. In regards to your additional comments, Lawrence at the front desk, charges for both the fridge and microwave along with correct pricing on our menus will be addressed and corrective action will be taken.
