“Premium price, moderate experience”

This hotel is one of the closest to Delano State Prison. Coming from LA, my wife and I decided to visit an inmate Saturday, stay the night, and visit again Sunday. Its a good idea, given the 1 hour daily visiting limit. Next door, there is a pizza/bar spot, Chinese buffet, Jack N Box, Kmart. No movie theaters for 30 miles and no mall either. The pool and jacuzzi were a swamp and the wireless Internet didn't work (wired did). However, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff let us check in a few hours early, which was nice as we were exhausted from the long drive.

“Not pleased. Not clean. Spend the same or less and go to another hotel in Delano.”

Front desk was fine. Hotel itself -- dirty. Carpet dirty in hallways. In bathroom -- dirt on the back of the bathroom door. Security latch broken on room door. Definitely not as nice/clean as other HI Express hotels I have stayed at.
