Rodeway Inn Delano

Before check-in, the clerk interrogated me. He asked me if it was just going to be me or were there going to be more people. Mind you, I booked a room with 2 queen beds. I said it would only be me and another person. The clerk just glared at me without saying a word for a good 10 seconds. Very awkward and uncomfortable. He said he was going to copy my credit card and charge me extra if there were more people. I said fine, but in my head I knew that this was my first, last, and only stay at this place. I later noticed that there was a Best Western just a half block away, which I should have stayed at. Avoid this place! I felt like we were being watched the whole time.

Carpets were very dirty, bedding had hairs in it.... overall ran down. Had reservations for 2 nights and cancelled the second night and headed to a nicer hotel. Would never stay here again!

We had two nights of good sleep on very comfortable beds and cleans rooms.

Locks were broken on door and window. Room was right on main road and was very loud inside (street noise). Air conditioner flooded my entire floor and soaked my luggage. Front desk was unwilling to switch rooms even with these problems. Breakfast was awful, most machines were either empty or broken. Avoid at all costs.
