“The Real Delhi”

The Hotel Broadway is old fashioned, friendly and comfortable. It lies on the line of the old city wall of Shajahanabad and is the ideal place if you want to see Old Delhi. The bazaars and lanes of this fascinating town are only seconds from the door and the view from the rear windows is magical. The sound of the muezzin from at least 5 mosques will punctuate your day from about 5.30 in the morning to 9 at night. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the service excellent. If you are going to India to be immersed in the culture then this is the place for you. Just remember India is everything that you have read about and there is no doubt that it is a culture shock at first but that's part of the reason for going. If on the other hand you are looking for a western outlook and ammenities it is not for you. I SHALL BE GOING BACK

“Solo Traveller in Delhi”

Hotel Broadway is clean and comfortable and has a 1950s feel. It is situated right on the edge of Old Delhi and you can be in the bazaars in minutes. The Chor Bizarre restaurant is famous both for its cuisine and its quirky décor. The hotel is ideal for somebody who wants to experience Old Delhi in depth. Having said all this the real joy of the hotel is its staff. They are friendly and helpful and can always find time to help even when the restaurant is taken over by the contents of a tour bus. This was my second visit within a year and I shall definitely go back.

The Hotel Broadway is in the commercial district of Delhi so the suroundings are urban and busy. It reminded me of something from a bygone era. The dining room is super. The front staff is helpful.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Clean and stylish rooms. Excellent restaurant (which is also in Mayfair, London) Good location between old and New Delhi. The neighbourhood can be shocking at first, but it is safe and very representative of what India is. Very good value for the price paid. Highly recommended.

“dorm-like, clean but not a bit fancy...”

i would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury or women traveling alone. the location of the hotel is surrounded with run-down buildings. new dehli is definitely a better place to stay...we snuck out of the hotel and left the door open with the key on the desk, afraid to say anything bc the quality of the hotel is very high, compared to its surroundings, but still leaves a lot to be desired by someone vacationing...

“Just about OK for Delhi avoiding 5 star expense”

Slightly quirky hotel. Room a bit pokey, but OK for 1 night. Hotel manager very friendly - in fact, he persuaded me to take a midnight trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra 4 hours by taxi) so I didn't sleep in the room that night anyway! However, the following day he was very flexible and let me keep the room until very late afternoon when I left to catch a train.

“A bit pricey for what you get, excellent restaurant. Not such a good location.”

The staff was very helpfull from beginning to end. The rooms are a bit dark and smell a bit. The hotel receptionist helped us to organise a tour through Rajasthan with an excellent driver, the upside is that we paid 30% more than we should have (even after bargaining the price - I guess thats the price for not knowing). The restaurant is really nice, as many other posts describe and I think thats the reason for the Hotels high price - as the facilities are old and location is not ideal for a first time traveller.
