A great staff makes up for a few frayed edges

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The staff and the location are the two greatest assets of this hotel. The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the train station and near shopping.
Cons: The hotel could use a little fixing up. The rooms are large and furnished well but the bed linen is showing some age and the breakfast standards down
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 8 months. It is still a great place to stay mainly based on the excellent and friendly staff. Nitin and Arman in the cafe are very friendly as are Haas and Renku in the restaurant and Kamal in management. They all recognize me whenever I show up and they go the extra miles to give me great service. This includes remembering that I like drinks with ice (not common in India) and have a coke and ice at my table before I can even sit down.

excellent rapport qualité-prix, à recommander

Posted Mar 5, 2015

Pros: breakfast at the rooftop
I stayed there just for one night, so there is not that much to say: - friendly, but lazy and disabled stuff - rooms and breakfast for India ok

Für Delhi echt in Ordnung

Posted Jan 28, 2015

Bra hotell ventralt i Delhi!

Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com

Pros: The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Renku in the upstairs restaurant and Nettan and Arman in the Café Brownie. All have great personalities.
Cons: Kenny G must be put to rest or at least given a break or some fellow musicians. He has played enough on his own.
Location: The hotel is only a few blocks from the trains station and a 15 minute walk will take you to the main shopping area.
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. It is very close to the train station and the rooms and facilities are nice. They have a good buffet breakfast and the items served change daily. The rooms are large enough and very modern and clean. What makes this hotel better than average is the staff. In the restaurant upstairs Renku is one of the waiters and takes really good care of you. I like ice in my drinks (not usual for India) and when I arrived after being gone for four months, Renku was at the table with a glass full of ice before I could settle in my seat. In the Café Brownie off the lobby, the two guys, Netten (the taller) and Arman (the shorter) appear really glad to see you. They also remembered the ice without being told. They chat with you as well as they can with their level of English and Netten will come to your table and do card tricks. The main drawback to this hotel is Kenny G. They play the Breathless CD for about 14 hours a day, no pause and nothing in between. I stayed there four months apart and Kenny said farewell and greeted me every time entered the building. Turn off your TV and Kenny will play you to sleep. The owner of the hotel must own Kenny G stock. I mentioned the constant Kenny G at the desk and they said they had stopped hearing it at all a long time ago.

Stay 1 night, long enough for delhi. The hotel was clean, under the bed had never been cleaned.. The showers didn't fully work As there was not enough pressure.. Light globe was hanging out of the roof.. Restaurant on the roof was good.. Exchanged money at a fair rate
