Location: We tuc-tuced to the sights very cheaply.
Arrived in middle of the night to warm welcome. The rrom was large and comfortable with helpful staff. The breakfast is generous and we especially liked the Indian vegetables & parathas. Large pool and daily paper was Real treat. Evening meals are very good

Nice hotel with good highway access to AgraPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Large rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Good access to Agra and surrounding monuments.
Cons: Furnishings and better upkeep of the rooms.
Location: Good access to Humayun's tomb, India Gate and Connaught Place.
Mantra Almatas is a good boutique hotel with very large comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. We found the furnishings a bit dated and cleanliness was average. The free breakfast had a limited selection but the freshly made omelets were very good. The lunch and dinner menu is extensive and includes European as well as Indian dishes. The hotel is not easy to find as it is tucked away in a residential neighborhood at the end of a long alley. Also, it is located at the Eastern end of Delhi, which makes it at least an hour away from the airport. On the flip side, it has good access to the newly built Yamuna Expressway, which shortens the drive to Agra and surrounding monuments by at least 1-2 hours.

Great hotelPosted Feb 15, 2014
The hotel was well located, with very helpful staff, and very comfortable and well-cleaned rooms. Also served a very good and varied breakfast as well as having a good and not too expensive lunch/dinner.

Nice area in Friends Colony area of New Delhi, outPosted Oct 4, 2013
We enjoyed our stay at the Mantra Amaltas. It was very comfortable and our driver, Shaleem was professional, courteous, communicative and showed us New Delhi in a comfortable way.

Great Hotel in New DelhiPosted Nov 22, 2012
Pros: Comfortable rooms
Location: Nice neighborhood just outside the center of New Delhi
The hotel staff was very accommodating to me and my friends. The food was good by hotel standards and the wait staff where very attentive. The private tours set up by the hotel were good even though they were very long and a bit exhausting.

Good rooms, good service, yet somewhat soullessPosted Nov 14, 2012
Pros: Staff and service, room size and comfort.
Cons: Location and lack of character.
Location: A little out of the way, I had to direct auto drivers there.
This hotel was certainly a pleasant place to stay, but that said, I'm not entirely sure that I'd chose it again. That may sound odd considering I gave 4/5 for all categories, but I there is logic to it. If you go purely on room comfort and facilities, then it rates fairly well. My room was large, clean and pretty well appointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. However, for me the location is a little too out of the way (with nothing particularly interesting within walking distance) whilst the hotel itself lacks real character. I actually picked it because it wasn't too far from South Ex2 where I now work and live. The food was pretty decent, and I was particularly pleased to see good Southern offerings at breakfast. As for other meals, I had room service on a couple of occasions and found it good, though expensive compared to eating out. I was a little disappointed to see so much 'international cuisine' on the menu though, taking up almost as much space as the North Indian fare. Who comes to Delhi to eat a steak with peppercorn sauce?! If you want a comfortable room and plan on travelling to attractions by taxi, then you could do far worse than this for the price. If you value character and an interesting locale, then you may be better off elsewhere. In reality accommodation in Delhi often involves a trade off between these two standpoints. Nice rooms in good locations are generally the preserve of the overpriced places spotted around CP.

Good location in a chaotic cityPosted Oct 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location, away from the noisy, chaotic part of city. It's closed to some of the attractions. There's a very good restaurant nearby on the same street, no 77, me and my friend had the best Indian fusion food. The room was very nice and clean.
