Maybe the best hotel in the world

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Atmosphere, fitness room, The Spice Route restaurant (southeast Asian - excellent) and even the casual restaurant for breakfast (1911).
Cons: If they could do something about the weather in June, that would be nice.
Location: It is a short walk to Connaught Place, directly across the street from the main Cottage Industries Store and very near the State Emporia. New Metro.
I'm serious. I travel a lot and this is my absolute favorite. You feel like a character right out of the Raj (may not be politically correct but it's true). Period décor and an impossibly cool art collection on all the walls (from Moghul miniatures to paintings by memsahibs to line drawings from the Mutiny (I think) to a famous folio of prints of Indian birds to weird British martial paintings (which for some reason don't insult my Indian friends - too weird maybe)). The staff is incredible - they remember you from years ago. In the off-season, it's even a pretty good bargain (in the winter it's way too expensive for me).

Nice Hotel in Delhi

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: It's clean, the complimentary water, the yoga class, the friendly, location, breakfast (especially the milkshakes an omelets).
Cons: The height of the toilet.
The hotel is very clean, the staff was super friendly at any time (we checked in at 2 am), beds are comfortable, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, they have 110 V outlet for shavers (important if you are traveling from America), the variety of breakfast is amazing (milkshakes and omelets were our favorites). Security is very strict. Is within walking distance to several interesting places. We had a great time and definitely recommend it!

Fint hotell nära centrum.

Posted May 30, 2015

Posted May 6, 2015

Beautifull but not heart, cold as a stone

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Historical place, good location, incredible architecture. But is it enough ?
Cons: To make the costumer at home, or at least at ease
Location: Connaugh Place
It's supposed to be a Palace, it looks like a Palace, and it could be one, but... Totaly unfriendly. No fruits in the room, no chocolate on your pillow at night. No nothing except if you pay for it. Expensive internet (it should be free in 2015) and very slow...

Not worth it

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Food does not meet 5 star Hotel expectation, staff is very kind, rooms really small with almost no windows so they upgrade me with a better room for free. For same price Hyatt is much better
