“Denali trip”
Loved it , it was the highlight of our trip , beautifu hotel and grounds
“Beautiful views, but kind of like being on a Cruise Ship”
This hotel has everything you need (kind of like a cruise ship, which I try to avoid) --- but I suggest leaving the hotel and trying the shops and restaurants across the street. The locally owned restaurants are great (like the Crow's Nest), as are the local shops. The breakfast in the Lodge was totally mediocre and very overpriced! The bar in the Lodge of the hotel is great though --- great view, fabulous bartender (Rod).

The season was ending, but the people were still very accommodating.
“Total Rip-Off Stay away no matter what”
Except for the young boy who helped us with out luggage, this hotel was a terrible experience. Extremely pricey but the rooms were bare-bones. Tiny tiny room with 2 double beds crammed in, smelly bathrooms and no amenities whatsoever. We had to call 3 times for a shower cap. No coffee pot in the room? Are you kidding me... Service was terrible, the staff was rude. They probably get by all this crap because they get most of their customer through their own cruises. I wish I had stayed a a bed-n-breakfast right opposite. I would have save a ton of money and I am sure the hosts would have been nicer.
