The hotel was better than expected. Well-maintained facility, exceptionally helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, and great food. A traveller cannot ask for a better place to stay when visiting Denali.

Facility had lodge and cabins for overnite stays and just outside Denali Park. Canoe and kayak launching right there. Everything was so convenient. Staff at check in, gift store, restaurant etc all so friendly and helpful. Pleasant stay.

All the food is amazing! and all the people in the hotel are so nice!!!! The hotel is nice and clean. It is located by the river and it's really beautiful!!

The hotel has everything we need as a casual traveller. Shuttle to Denali, shower, warm bed, clean room, food and drink, free internet, gift shop, large rest lounge and others. We feel very comfortable.

“Decent Hotel at the lower rate offered”

The hotel was OK and service was fine. My problem was that there was no Air Conditioning in the room. We opened the window, turned on the portable fan, and blocked open the room door in order to obtain better air flow (there goes your privacy.) You can also leave the window open at night if you don't mind the noise from the tour busses and parking lots. Unfortunately, you still can't remove the humidity fast enough. After a day of hiking, a nice cool room would have been appreciated. Having a rental car was convenient, as the hotel is at milepost 231 (Denali is at milepost 237 and the tourist restaurants / shopping is at 238). There is a shuttle service and most major tour companies provide pickup/dropoff service at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel if the lower-end rates are available, but not if you have to pay the premium rates.

“Denali area hotel”

Very nice hotel. We were traveling with our grandkids and all enjoyed the stay there. Restaurant on site was also very good for breakfast and dinner.

“Nice, but 5 minutes from the restaurants and shops in Denali”

It's a nice hotel if you have a rental. Otherwise, you have to take wait for their bus to take you around. Definitely do the Kantishna Experience bus. It's 12-13 hours long, but totally worth it. We saw bears, caribou, wolves, eagles, ptarmigans, etc. It was great!
