WEDDING TRIP TO DENHAM SPRINGS

Pros: The location and the price.
Cons: nothing
Location: I was close to restaurants, shopping, and interstate.
It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again when I visit this city.

Pros: Breakfast was not bad
Cons: A person to double check the cleaning!
The room had burned marks on the bedspread and tables. The coffee filter was still in the coffee maker, there was dead roaches on the floor of the bathroom and hair and mold in bathroom. The hair dryer was nasty, it didn't even look like they wiped it down (dirty) toilet had a ring around it. Just hope it didn't have bed bugs!

There were things I really liked. The hotel's location was great for us--convenient to I-12 and with lots of good restaurants nearby. The living/sleeping area was clean and comfortable. The room contained a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, Wi-Fi, and a nice-sized TV, all of which worked well. Our room had plenty of furniture and space to be comfortable. The front desk staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. Now the negatives: The shower and toilet were located in a little room off of the vanity area, and this room had mildew on the ceiling and in the grout around the tub. The toilet bowl had a water ring and other stains. In the living area, the desk drawer had a vulgar message scrawled in it. Cleaning service came the first morning of our 3-night stay and, on that visit, took away our used towels but failed to replenish the towels and coffee. They didn't come again before our departure in the early morning after our 3rd night. The ice machine on the ground floor didn't work. These things left us with the overall impression that, in spite of some good qualities, this was a hotel in need of better maintenance and better general management. Consequently, the rating slipped from a 3 to a 2.
