great welcome reception, wonderful breakfast staff with full smiles, ok gym not enough light, quiet music. Fantastic pool but super cold NOT heated with all that sunshine where arethe solar panels. Mostly Dutch golfers! no smiles! unable to greet! hint-hint Dutch guests! Super clean rooms, king bed was too hard for our taste the next night the hotel placed padding-much better sleep, thank you! Unless you are a golfer or enjoying the spa hydrotherapy pool at 15 Euro/day special price, you need a car 15-30 min to any beach town. We loved the quietness....pool was a big MISS! Management should think hard....give a little heat to that pool...

We booked into La Posada for one night whilst holidaying in Costa Blanca. A superb hotel, great location with free parking on the sea front. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very clean rooms. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hopefully will return again next time we are in the area.

We were only stopping one night and it rained from the time we arrived until we left. We drove there from Alicante airport and no problem until we reached McDonalds in Denia. From there it was a real problem to find the Hotel. It is situated in the Old Town with many very narrow streets. You must have clear written instructions and a large scale map.
Really impressed with the Hotel. Very quaint and the Hotel staff were so hopeful in every way. They loaned us an umbrella so we could go to a nearby restaurant on sunday afternoon. Again well worth it. The Hotel has its own car park nearby as you cannot park outside as it is a pedestrian zone, but costs 12 Euros per night.
Hotel ideally located for walking around the quaint old town. Far better than the new town. Hotel room very good and in character with the ambience of the Hotel and area. Breakfast was a buffet but good. Would definitely stop there again.

Not the best impression on arrival as located on a very narrow street with two skips outside. Frontage rather plain, but walking in you're in for a treat. Bar and restaurant just off reception leading to a fabulous open courtyard. Stayed within main hotel, but understand there is an annex. Both bedroom and bathroom extremely tasteful in décor and spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and had an excellent night's sleep. Good selection of foods within breakfast buffet and coffee served at table. Bit of a problem with English language, but muddled through and all staff did their total best. Very pleasing hotel within a 9 minute walk to all the shops and café/bars along Marques de Campos, The Castle and The Port of Denia. Bus station just 5 minutes walk, which also gives easy access to visit Calpe and Benidorm. Would certainly recommend to friends if visiting area and would have no hesitation in going back.

The hotel had an excellent atmosphere and a family-run feel. All the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay more pleasant. The standard room was clean, modern and functional and the beds incredibly comfortable. The location near the sea front and restaurants is excellent. The hotel constitutes excellent value of money and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Bed was very small old double size Which we have all king size at home. Staff so friendly feel like friends we are even going back to see them again while herein spain.

The Castillo de Denia perches high above the original village of brightly-painted former fishermen’s houses in this relatively quiet, low-key, family resort. The adjacent newer part of town is typically Spanish with many elegant 19th-century buildings. Denia’s seafront includes a working port, a marina, excellent fish restaurants, ferries to the Balearic Islands, and a broad, long, sandy beach that stretches for many miles.
