Friendly staff, quick to react, good location

Posted Jul 14, 2014
We started with a glitch in the booking - they expected us 2 days earlier. Since the confirmation from Expedia was undoubtedly correct, they have transferred us into their other hotel (Viewpoint) and prepared a room for us very quickly (it was 2 adults 2 children, so some work was involved with installing extra beds, etc.). Good dinner, OK breakfast, GREAT location (walking distance to the pools and Hierapolis), reasonable price. Great value.

Location, service and facilities make this great d

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Stayed for one day for our visit to Pamukkalle. It is 5 minutes from pamukkalle thermal Springs parking. It is a family owned and operated boutique hotel. The the staff are very friendly, and including their dog. The dinner was great with local wine for such a reasonable price, served right in front of the pool. They could however use a better shower and an elevator. Shower was logged and lugging the bags to the third floor was no fun. I would go back to this place again and would gladly recommend it to others. Please note they do note take credit cards, though it can be reserved using a credit card.

Clean rooms, a little far from travetines

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms, large bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast, location, service.
Location: 15-minute walk away from the travetines. Try Melrose Viewpoint hotel. From what I see, it looks newer. It's also nearer to the travetines.
Average hotel with clean rooms. We stayed in the largest room they had. It comfortably accommodates three at max. There are two showers and a bath tub, which we liked. Nothing much to say here. Just an average hotel with average rooms and staff. The location could be better though. It is a 15 minute walk to the travetines, which feels like forever under Turkey's scorching sun. Breakfast was also mediocre at best.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and great food

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Melrose House is a very comfortable hotel/BnB in a good location for visiting the Travertines at Pammukale. The staff are all very friendly, and the food is particularly good. However, be warned you will be required to pay in cash.

Nice size room, clean, very nice food, close to the travertines. We had to go to the bus station and the host drove us there. Awesome!

Got sent elsewhere by the hotel

Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I didn't stay there because they gave away my room before I got there. They sent me to their "sisters" place, but then the sister charged me more than I had been contracted with Melrose. I had my paperwork with me from Hotels.com but since her "sister" had quoted otherwise she had already made the bill up. I just didn't want to make a fuss ad spoil the day over it, so I paid up.
