Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff.Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: The friendly staff and homey atmosphere. Awesome food as well.
Cons: Nothing to be improved here.
Location: The amazing travertines. Otherwise that's about it but definitely worth the trip.
One of the best places to visit. Spectacular scenery.

Great hotel for families.Posted Aug 14, 2013
This is by far the best hotel in Pamukalle. There is a small swimming pool which was a welcome treat after a long bus and train journey. Though at the edge of town, it's only 10 minutes to the entrance of the Tavertines. The food is very good. Overall a great place to stay

Melrose Delivers in PamukkalePosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The owners and their hospitality
This family owned guesthouse is ideally located, has a lovely pool/courtyard, clean, comfortable rooms with character (we had a round bed) and great food. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very helpful and make you feel right at home after a day of travelling or exploring the travertines.

Considering the surroundings it was nice....Posted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: The staff and the food
Location: Location was on an odd street - seemed a little unsafe but was ok... The only thing I found to do was check out the salt pools and ruins...
The staff was great here! But, I just felt a little outside my comfort zone... My room and the hotel are clean and secure... but the location seemed odd and even though my room was clean I didn't feel comfortable and I kept wondering why... honestly I was wondering if it was just because it was decorated in purple and orange because it really was just fine... I guess I was having a princess moment... I didn't find the salt pools to be too interesting so maybe that was it also... But the food was great, the staff was great, I felt safe and clean... but something was missing....

Girls trip to PamakkalePosted Apr 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at melrose for 2 nights . The location was great - 10min walk to reach the travertines. The hotel was very cozy and comfortable enough to lounge around the second day when we ran out of things to do in the area. The staff was super friendly and was fluent enough to converse with us in English and the owners were extremely welcoming. The main thing we enjoyed was eating at the restaurant at the hotel - the food was fantastic (the town restaurants were "so so")!!

Wonderful Family Owned Inn near Awesome SitesPosted Apr 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Totally enjoyed our 2 nights at Melrose House. Everyone spoke English. From start to finish, everyone was extraordinarily friendly, helpful and efficient. Very personal service. The outdoor spaces, including patios, new roof deck and pool, are particularly lovely; the breakfast buffet was well organized and tasty. Dinner was very good and reasonable. Parking is on the street, but it is not a busy thoroughfare. No English tv stations. 5 min. drive to Pamukalle terraced pools and Hieropolis ruins. 10 min. drive to archaeological site at Laodicea. Don't miss this area and this charming place!

Very simple hotel like the cityPosted Jan 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very simple, just like everything in Pamukkale. Location is good but not in the real center of the village. Breakfast is very simple but good. Wifi didn't work inside my room. Bathroom is big but water in the shower is very few.
