“Always a great trip!”

Always love staying at the soundings. It's under construction so there's rough spots but the place overall is becoming more high class and modern. Great beach and great location. Can't wait to go back!

“Lifetime of memories!”

I have been going to the Soundings for over 40 years. I can say that the location, the employees, the atmosphere and the Soundings itself are magnificent. Bring your cameras, your bathing suit and come and relax. The Soundings is updating on all fronts. I promise you, if you love the New England feel and ocean air, you will be more then satisfied!

“Great Getaway for Flexible Vacationers!”

We felt the room was a bit small and could use some maintenance, but it was a very clean facility overall and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We weren't in the room very much because it was so nice hanging out on the grounds. The fellow travelers were very friendly, and we made many friends! We left grounds only for dinners and 2 excursions the entire week. It was wonderful for R&R, a true resort environment with really friendly, hard-working staff and the unrenovated rooms are a lot of bang for the buck (I can't comment on the newer rooms, although they were offering tours I didn't go). I would totally go to this place again - very relaxing for recovering workaholics.

“so cute”

The web site does this place mo justice. It was such a cute reasonable getaway. The beach qas not what i am really used to living in nj, but over all the hotel was clean, nice and the staff was very nice as well ... If i ever venture back to the cape i would definitely. Stay here again.

“Loved it!”

Before we left I read so many reviews about The Soundings being under construction. Well, we must be the lucky ones who heard zero construction, and had an amazing room/area that already had undergone the repairs. The rooms are decorated beautifully - and are large enough and built with enough comforts (kitchen, sitting area, balcony, bedroom, pull-out couch) that you would stay with your family for an extended stay. My bf and I only stayed for a long weekend but our room opened up right onto the beach, where we fell asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore every single night. This place is fabulous!

“not to shabby”

The soundings was a great place. Our room was just freshly renovated i thought it was nice it had, marble counter tops a full kitchen, all stainless appliances, flat screen TV, fire place, nice bathroom with a big soaking tub. The soundings had there own private beach witch was nice a outdoor pool and an indoor pool with a hot tub. The cafe on site was a little ify. In all I'd go back.

“great for the price”

Beautiful location. Convenient to most of the Cape. Right on the ocean-left the windows opened every night and listened to the waves. clean beach, hard bed (but that's what we like), clean room. A bit dated, but everything worked. Nice pools (both the indoor & outdoor), husband enjoyed the hot tub, Would stay there again.
