“America's Best Value Inn - Denton, TX”

Not at all what it was depicted as. Rooms were not well maintained, furniture was worn out and had holes in it, ice machines didn't work, ect. All-in-all just a total misrepresentation on the website from the actual facility.

“Not impressed”

Got to the hotel during a rain storm in Texas and was advised that the room was upstairs and no cover to remove luggage from car. Room ceiling showed that there was a leak in two spots just to the right of the bed for sleeping.

“Bad service”

It took us more than 20 minutes to check in, and they had to change us to another room because the shower was not clean. The outside of this Hotel is in bad condition, but the rooms are OK.

“Would not recommend”

The staff was very helpful and the bed was very comfortable. However, the condition of the hotel was less than adequate. The shower did not work properly. The ironing board, hanging on a very cheap looking rack was the first thing you saw when entering the room. The lights didn't work. There were wires everywhere. I had to unplug the microwave in order to plug in the coffee maker. The air conditioner was very loud and I could hear the people (talking normally) next door as if they were in the room with me.

The room was clean, but there was an "off" smell in the carpet. The chairs were stained, and there was some mildew in the bathroom. For the price, it wasn't awful, but as a single woman, traveling alone, I was a bit scared by the clientele. The pool looked clean, even for being outdoors.

there was mold in the corner of the room. The paint was peeling off the ceiling. We asked for extra pillows and never received them. there was no coffee pot in our room and we had to ask for one.

“Not impressed”

I was not impressed with this hotel. It was very easy to find. However, it is in much need of remodeling. The room had a musty, moldy smell, lots of stains on the carpet and furniture and bedding. The door has an outside access and was flimsy and needed force to shut all the way. Plus the walls are very thin and the late night shouting from outside kept me awake.

“Plenty of other Motels in Denton. You will feel much better.”

Door Latch broken, Lamp bulbs burned out, Commode lid broken, Chairs were filthy dirty. Did not have hot water for 2 days (sorry about that, nothing we can do was the answer from the front desk). Ran out of food at the breakfast (sorry about that was the answer from the front desk) The beds were somewhat comfortable but you just felt like you were sleeping in a smelly, filthy place.

“Flee! Flee before it's too late!”

Oh, where to begin? Missing lightbulbs, a TV with no remote, (but that's probably OK since it only has one channel if changed manually), broadband so weak that it's inaccessable, no sound insulation, pillows that could double as area rugs, crusty comforters, sticky carpets, wobbly furniture and a clientele straight from the central casting office of Gangs of New York. Dante's sixth circle of Hell would be an upgrade.
