Great Pet-Friendly Hotel!

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Dog friendly, great staff and a modern, fun atmosphere
Cons: Would have loved breakfast to be included in the stay
Firstly, the staff was excellent. Bre at the front desk was very kind and helpful! The room was cute with a modern design and a comfy king size bed. Not much bathroom privacy if that's important to you. Love that the hotel is dog friendly yet there was no barking or other disturbances from such. I stayed for 4 nights and overall the experience was great.

Last minute booking. This hotel needing some TLC-looked a bit tired and dirty both in common areas and room. Not what we expected.

Party crowd

We called ahead saying our flight was late and then were told we might not have a clean room. Walls were dirty. Food in the morning was ok. Check out staff was helpful.

Overnight airport connection

Nice ultra modern hotel, great staff, clean, wired room setup, no place to sit and eat besides the bed, no chairs just a permanent bench facing away from tv, nice place, could have been thought through a bit better.

Cons: Staff courtesy and helpfulness could be improved at the front desk as well as the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby.
Aloft Hotel, Aurora, Colorado, July 3rd, 2014 The Lobby at the hotel is "worn" and needs desperately to be refurbished. I had called the hotel in advance and made an early arrival request. The staff at the time said that they would be happy to make note on the reservation, but they could not guarantee anything, but to please check with staff on arrival. My daughter traveled overnight on the red eye from Lihue, Hawaii to Denver and was quite tired when she arrived at the hotel. She asked the clerk if she could check in early (she arrived around 9:15 a.m.), the desk staff offered a flat "no" and did not even attempt to check to see when a room would be available for my daughter. It was 3:00 p.m. and that was that! I thought that the lack of action on the part of the front desk staff and her tone were unacceptable and to be quite honest, not reflective of the staff when I have stayed at Aloft Hotels. Since this was out of the ordinary I thought it should be brought to your attention. I had made an advance booking for a return night's stay on Saturday, July 12th. I had been tempted to cancel it because of her earlier experience, but did not. We arrived after 3:00 p.m. and the desk staff at that time was both polite and very helpful.

Very disappointed with the experience...

Posted Jul 9, 2014
I booked thru expedia and specified 2 queen beds since there will be 4 us who will be staying for 3 nights. When we checked-in, the attendant said that they only have a room with 1-king bed. We didn't have any choice because its the 4th of july and most hotels are already booked. They promised to make our stay as comfortable as possible and all we got are 2 comforters and 2 sheets... Never heard from them again. Fridge and phone is not working. This hotel is overly priced for what they can offer. Couldn't imagine paying that much just to be sleeping on the floor with just a comforter. They didn't even provide an air matress. I would definitely not recommend this hotel at all.

Don't stay here!

Posted Jul 6, 2014
They overbook every weekend. They don't provide promised roll aways or cribs. They charged my credit card $110.02 for 6 Cokes and 2 candy bars and nearly refused to correct charges. There's not enough parking at the hotel. No one knows what's going on. Staff is ignorant. If you book on Expedia or any third party vendor, they tell you whatever room you requested is not guaranteed and they don't have to honor it. My family had 4 people in one king room, and 5 people in a standard room so two had to sleep on the floor. Some guy named Cody promised he was bringing a rollaway up but never showed. I was promised a rollaway by 3 different people in fact. It never showed. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!

Near Denver Airport

Pros: Had a nice pool
Cons: If you are going to cater to business travelers and airport guests you should make sure your business center is functioning.
Very disappointing stay. The room was not very clean or functional. When we went to print our boarding passes none of the 3 printers had any toner in them. The hotel staff knew of this problem on Sunday evening when we checked in, but yet on Monday morning all 3 printers had no or low toner. This is unacceptable for a hotel that holds itself out as an airport/business hotel.
