We got in at midnight and had the nicest gentleman welcome us and help with our bags and 3 children. The breakfast was tasty and the pool was fun for the kids although a little chilly. Overall a pleasant short stay.

Disappointing

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: More professional - and helpful - front desk staff. I had the sense that cleaners were "covering" the front desk.
Location: Close to airport.
Hotel did meet my expectations as it is not at all as represented on website. Front desk staff were indifferent, almost rude. WiFi is impossibly slow and intermittent. No in-hotel restaurant. One of my most disappointing hotel stays. Would not stay there again nor recommend it to anybody.

Meh

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Check in was rough. They were very understaffed and the person that was there didn't really know what she was doing. We prepaid for our room and check in still took 20 minutes. Our room was fine but smelled SO strongly of cleaner and air freshener, we instantly got a head ache. We opened the window despite it being in the low 50's. It was convienent for the airport, but we might look elsewhere before trying this place again.

Pros: Closeness to DO A.
Greeted with courtesy and efficiency. Very pleased with cleanliness of room. Computer station easy to use for flight check in and printing. My husband I will return to Best Western next time we are in Denver.

convenient to DIA

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Convenient for a layover in DIA
Cons: Hotel staff
Just needed a hotel for a layover in Denver. Shuttle was timely and efficient. However, the front desk was way, way understaffed. I waited 20 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. She apologized - but had taking something somewhere to fax it. And once she got back to the desk, she continued to make me wait while she finished whatever she was doing.

Disappointing For an Upscale Hotel

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: The toilet had a jet like flow and would never plug. The location was close enough to make the trip to the airport short and the shuttle servie was ex
Cons: Have the continental breakfast ready for 6 as advertised and make sure the details in the room are correct and replenished.
Location: There was a restaurant within walking distance and a quicky mart for snacks if desired.
Generally the facilities were fine, but there were a number of details where they came up short. The room was to have an alarm clock but that was missing. The shampoo and skin cream provided in the room were used. The room provided was for easy access, however, the bathtub was so slippery I would not have wanted to be very handicapped and try to use it. Even the shower head kept moving while you showered. The continental breakfast was a disappointment. The service, was very slow as we were missing plates for toast or waffles (if they had provided a ingredients to make them - note the waffle iron was on and ready), fruit etc. They may have eventually shown up, but we had a flight to catch and could not wait.

Conveniently located, nice staff

The hotel is easy to find even for an out-of-country traveler. The staff was friendly, the room spacious and clean. There was some noise in the hallway at night due to people coming and going, but that was the only discomfort we had.

Value

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: convenient
Cons: Fix the light on the awning. Cannot find the hotel during evening
Location: Good beer place across the street. They also give a courtesy discount to eat there, via the hotel.
For the money, it was clean, and breakfast was OK. While not 5-star in amenities, I did not pay 5-star prices either. I thought it was worth what I had spent for the room.

Good overnight stopover

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Value for money without sacrificing quality
Good basic hotel for short stay. Staff friendly and the place was clean and well maintained. Particularly noteworthy was the breakfast - advertised as Continental but with plenty of fresh, hot items and fruit. Airport shuttle was also friendly and efficient - make sure you pre-book at the desk for going out to the airport. Had to wait about 15 mins for pick up at the airport but no need to book.
