Spring break

My husband and I came to Colorado for our spring break and spent a week at this hotel. It is in a great location with easy access to major roadways. The hotel staff were friendly and kept the place looking and smelling great. We used the workout room a couple times and overall it was clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. My only complaint would be a small trash can under the kitchen sink that was left with trash in it when we arrived. It would have gone unnoticed if there wasn't a dirty (and smelly) diaper left in it.

Affordable for a reason

The staff was super friendly, but the room was a bit of a letdown. The water smelled strongly of chlorine every time I showered. I would probably go back just because it is cheaper than most near it. Gym had several treadmills, bike, elliptical, and cable machine which is more than many hotels. The hallways and stairwells smelled strongly of pot.

Location: Great mexican restaurant nearby.
Exactly what you would expect, a place to sleep well, clean, a well stocked "pantry". Nothing fancy, but no essentials to a night's sleep missing.

EXCELLENT hotel in all respects!

Stayed for 4 nights on business. Hotel was well appointed for an EXTENDED STAY hotel, and my room was very spacious and comfortable. Be aware that because Candlewood Suites are extended stay hotels, they only provide a room cleaning and fresh sheets and linen once weekly. Not a problem for me as I generally request other than daily room freshening when staying in hotels. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in the area.

Great hotel but needs work on cleanliness

When I am in town I only stay at this hotel. I normally never have any issues. This stay I found cigarette ashes in the ashtray and crumbs on the kitchen counter. Other than the cleanliness of the room this time, it is normally a great stay!

All is well but my room was not cleaned

Everything was fine at this hotel except for the fact I did not have my room cleaned once during my stay. I got back to my room late on the first night and it was to late to have it cleaned as the cleaning crew left at 5:00. The next day I asked to have my room cleaned and it wasn't when I returned mid afternoon. I asked again and they said it would be taken care of but once again, I returned later that night and the room was not made up. That was my only complaint. The rooms were nice enough and the front desk staff was very kind. I was just a bit frustrated that the room was not clean. I travel a lot and this just doesn't happen that often.

Excellent longer term stay hotel

two separate rooms, large kitchen/table area, large bathroom. excellent for family or group wanting to have some meals in room. clean, quiet facility with easy access to both downtown Denver and the mountains.

Good value at good west-Denver/Goldne location

The hotel location and pricing were quite good. The amenities are sub-nearby competitors, but we were fine with that---we'll eat at restaurants. also, some guests might be uneasy with only periodic full-room cleaning. But, again, we like not seeing all the daily laundry activities---just not needed.
