“Great location, bad internet service, bad heating”
The hotel is very well located, just a block from the 16th street Mall. Close to many cafés, restaurants, stores, etc. within walking distance. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms quite small. Breakfast is quite good (scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit, etc.). If you happen to be in the hotel around 4-5pm there are freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The main inconvenience for me was the bad internet connection and given I was in Denver for a conference and had to spend some time online that was very frustrating. I tried 3 different rooms and all had problems with the internet. The staff was very nice and called the technical support, but then the technical support tried to fix the problem by telling me to take the laptop closer to the walkway! Also heating did not heat properly. One vent blew cold air. It was 30-40 F that week in Denver. Again they could not fix the problem. Maybe the hotel is OK if you are just going for holidays and you visit in Summer.
“Just O.K.”
The costumer service was fantastic. Breakfast was great too. Coffee machines could've been cleaned out, but there's a Caribou Coffee right around the block. We had a great [corner] view of the downtown area. The king bedroom suite was very small, as was the bathroom. The bathtub faucet leaked and we crossed our fingers each time we flushed the toilet in hopes that it would fully flush. Thankfully the service was so good we did enjoy ourselves.
“Great value”
Clean and affordable
“Excellent location. Central city. Walking distance of Free City shuttle & 16th Ave shopping centre.”

“Close to every thing downtown.”
Great location near the 16th St Mall and all it has to offer. The complimentary business center is very handy and nice fitness room.
“Not Impressed”
Room and bathroom both felt cramped.
“Comfort Inn Denver Downtown”
Plumbing and bathroom were bad. The room was reasonable. The location is superb.
“Great downtown location”
Location is great for downtown access - right around the corner from 16th shopping.
“Nice hotel in good location”
This hotel is conveniently located a block from the 16th Street Mall, which features tons of restaurants and shops. It's within walking distance to State Capitol (take the free tour) and a short cab ride to many other Denver sites. Room was clean and staff friendly.
