“Very refreshing crisp and clean”

Seems that they are in the process of updating the place. Our room was very nice! The stairway to the second floor had new treads and the railing was newly painted. Our bathroom was very clean. The room was super quiet. Best night's sleep in a hotel that we've had in quite a while. Fantastic breakfast bar with eggs bacon and waffles at no extra charge. Great coffee too.

The hotel decor is a little "tired", but the staff is very nice and the hotel is efficiently run. A great location for antiquing.

“Colombus holiday”

we had a nice stay. Property grounds well maintained. Desk staff pleasant but not overwhelmingly helpful. They never inquired as to whether we were enjoying our stay or not. Same with cleaning staff. Friendly and quiet but nothing exceptional. Main attractions were 1) they accepted pets. we had a small dog. 2) nice breakfast bar, but nowadays most ALL decent hotels have that. Hotel was mostly quiet, which we enjoyed. No drunks, teens , or small children running rampant. Hotel was close to the Hwy. but not near any attractions. hotel staff had no recommendations for meals, activities, etc. Pretty much left us alone. Brochure( website) said they had an exercise room but this was not seen , nor promoted by the staff either. Restaurant on premises had closed down. Overall, o.k. We will probably return but also look for a pet acceptable hotel near Lancaster next time. They did have a nice, Bible believing Baptist church next door within walking distance. THIS was a PLUS and will be the main reason we ruturn. AMEN..........Rom. 10: 13, John 3: 16, Rom. 5: 8 Eph. 2: 8,9 P.S. The room was, clean, comfortable and fairly priced. Large bed, chair, desk, fridge, and Mwave. which was a big help. Could store sodas and sandwiches which was convenient. No need to run out everytime to get a bite to eat. VERY GOOD Italian carry out about 2 mi. away ( Chris') Very good. On Rt 222. next town over. Very good food for the price. home cooked.

The hotel was very clean and neat. Some of the staff was very stand-offish. The Continental breakfast was very good. They had a vast variety of items. The location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful. I would go there again.

Very friendly staff, quick check in. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, many choices and in a beautiful room.

“Good Value for the Price”

The hotel was clean, convenient to Lancaster & Hershey, and had great breakfast. The only complaint I have is the carpet in the room seemed dirty and I worried about my child sitting on the floor to play. It seemed sticky and looked like the carpet could use a good cleaning, of course that could be because we own a carpet cleaning buisness so of course we would notice that! There were minor defects in the room, especially in the bathroom with spots of mold and spots of paint missing but nothing that sent me running. The full hot breakfast was an added bonus and saved us at least $20/day that we would have had to spend on breakfast. The Turkey Hill and Dunkin Donuts right across the street was another bonus, as well as a local italian restuarant that delivers.

Check in the ac was off turn it to high cool did not work. Front desk put us in another room, both room had a ordor and the hall wall was dark. We did not unpack our bags in either room. We cancell our stay and left, not happy for the price they were charging was n ot worth it.
