Extremely excellent staff.

Very hard working staff members who were exceptionally polite. I would definitely stay here again. Great location close to The Pavilion Shops and 16th Street.

Nice Hotel, good location

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Location
Went to concert, it was awesome the hotel offered a shuttle service to and from concert...better than paying for a taxi--although the wait to get back to the hotel after the concert was lenghty!

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: It was clean!! And in a very convenient location.
Cons: Include a mini-fridge in the rooms and perhaps a microwave. I had leftovers from the restaurants and had to throw it out.
Location: Colorado Convention Center (2 blocks away) 16th Street Pedestrian Mall (2 blocks away) The Pavilion and plenty of restaurants (1-2 blocks away)
I came to Denver for a conference held at the Colorado Convention Center. The location of this hotel is very convenient. You are within walking distance to major attractions (convention center, 16th street pedestrian mall, the Denver Art Museum, the History Museum, the US Mint, the University campus). Depending on which side of the hotel you are on, you can see the Rockies. My coworker and I were greeted by the hotel concierge who called us by name every time he saw us during our stay. He was also very helpful in recommending restaurants and making reservations for us. His referrals resulted in complimentary appetizers at the restaurants. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were always helpful. I have 2 young children and wouldn't hesitate to bring them here if I come back to Denver.

Denver AACRAO Convention

Posted Apr 3, 2014
My colleague and I went to Denver for a convention of educational administrators, Registrars and Admissions Professionals. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza because it seemed more affordable and situated close to the Denver Convention Centre were our event was to be held. When we first arrived we were given rooms close to the elevators and the custodial staff lockers. We both requested to be moved to rooms that were in a less busy, high traffic location and both of us were promptly accommodated. Although whether a hotel can do this sort of thing for a customer is probably solely dependent on availability, the transfer was handled quickly and professionally and was much appreciated because we both ended up with better, quieter rooms, albeit a bit smaller. My room was clean, but the bathroom faucet didn't quite work (dripped a bit despite my continued efforts). The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the hotel offered a starbucks menu in the bar opposite the lobby entrance and a nice in room breakfast selection, which I thought was quite handy. Overall, I found the hotel experience to be one that was clean, affordable, friendly, and convenient.

Great hotel to stay at, great location to Convention center & 16 St. mall. Good food & bar in the hotel. Service excellent, very friendly staff. Room was very nice, small issue with the toilet & electric outlet, but over all very nice! Would stay there again.

Not a good deal

Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service and value
Location: Close to Capitol and business locations
Been to several downtown Denver hotels and figured the rate at crowne plaza was good, if not great deal. Wrong. Fees for necessities ate up any savings and this place is a couple decades past nice accommodations. No valet or doormen, so schlep your own luggage from your car in the $25 a night parking. Finally, there was some hotel wide repair on water that meant the water was brown and not potable. That didn't stop them trying to charge $5 for a bottle of water. This place was not friendly, not convenient, and not a good deal.
