Close to Denver Airport.

Cons: Better shuttle service.
The only bad experience we had was a 2 hour wait at the airport to be picked up by the hotel shuttle. And we had a return trip on the day before we flew back home, they claimed we didn't have a reservation.

Passing through

Posted Jul 22, 2014
The hotel was difficult to find. Was once a comfort inn. Now is a days inn. However the address is the same and it is very convenient to I70. Parking is also somewhat challenging.

Outdated

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Hotel is old and out dated, kind of dumpy. We had some mold in our bathroom. They only gave us two pillows for our queen size bed (for two people) and at first when we asked for more we were told there weren't any to give us, but then one of the other workers went and looked and found more and brought them to us. It is NOT the closest days inn to the airport, made the mistake of going to the new and nice one closer to the airport. This one is about 8 minutes further down the road leading to the airport, so make sure you get the address right (e.g. don't type in "days inn Denver airport" or you won't go to the right place).

Hotel in transition hopefully for the better

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Convenient to highway but you don't hear the noise. Room was clean, good TV and channel quality. Room was quiet and we never heard neighbors.
Cons: WiFi was poor. Latency, speed and stability poor. Breakfast was poor. No variety and very limited selection Reservation interface an issue.
Location: Restaurants not too close, need a car unless you walk to McDonalds across street. Close to Airport.
Stayed three nights. And it was generally okay, but with some issues. 1. Access card kept needing to be reprogrammed. Five times in the three days. 2. Computer system showed reservation then hid it from the front staff. It took 40 minutes to get all figured out. Time I could have spent anywhere else. 3. Breakfast was poor and not available on time. Came down at 6:20am for breakfast starting at 6am. No sausage or eggs yet. Had the same breakfast all three days, with NO variations at all.

Nothing good to say!!

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: NOTHING!!!
Cons: EVERYTHING including proper amount of staff.
Where do I start? Got in room, TV was not working & no trash cans, called staff & was informed he was there alone & to busy to do anything about it, I told him I needed to have the tv fixed. After 2 calls in less than 1 hour he finally showed up and did something behind the tv that he said the housekeepers undo, it took a total of 5 seconds, I told him he could have told me that when I called and asked for assistance with it and asked for a different room if it was broken!! His response was he couldn't "over sale" his hotel and I could NOT change rooms! The air conditioner made a terrible noise all night, the bed had 2 VERY small pillows, 1 bar of soap, 1 face cloth & when I started to take a shower the next morning there was no shampoo. I called front desk & again told to "come down & get it, I am alone and busy!) I explained that I was prepared for a shower and could not. She finally made it up w/ spoo while I was in the shower so no, I didn't get to shampoo my hair before heading to airport, tub held 6" water, ride to the airport was like a roller coaster as we were "stuffed" in a van with a couple having to let the kids ride in their laps for lack of space. OMG!!! I will NEVER stay there again and NO WAY recommend it. I explained this to what was supposed to be a temp manager who did apologize and said I could not get a refund from them but would have to go through Expedia, as I complained she finally "figured out" how to give me a $25.00 refund for my "inconvenience"

Improvement Needed

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: See above
Location: Near the Airport
I think that this property basically needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I would think that Day Inn would at least put up some decent signage that they took over from Comfort Inn but just a few banners are draped over the existing signage. We will not stay there again, the non-smoking floor smelled like smoke. Everything is rundown and old.

Don't trust the pictures....

I stayed here for two days in July. I like my room a little cool so I turned the a/c on, and left it on. When I came back for the second evening, there was a terrible musty smell that I'm assuming was coming from the a/c. I'm sure it was there the night before, but I just didn't notice it from sleeping in it all night. The place is pretty dated and run down. The staff was pleasant enough though. If I come back to the city, I'll definitely be looking for an alternative.

Clueless in Denver...

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Why did I bother to book a non smoking room only to get a smoking room with no other non smoking rooms available.
