Nice hotel and good location near I 25.
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: I used the swimming pool and surprised to find both an indoor and also an outdoor pool. Exercise facilities were OK.
Cons: Restaurant was OK. Parking was difficult. Many of the parking lanes ended in dead ends, making you have to make a U-turn at the end.
Good location near to I25 so you can go south or north to Denver in just a few minutes. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Ask for a room with a view so you can take advantage of some of the mountain views.

hotel stay opinion
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: comfortable rooms, nice work out facility and pool area
Cons: see notes above
Location: limited because it sets in a business district - catered more for business and not family.
Great hotel for a conference and business meetings. We enjoyed the stay just as a weekend stay and chose it because of the great weekend rate. HOWEVER, the extras will eat up the good rate......$10/day to self park , $13.00/day to use internet in the room which every hotel has available. If it's available in the lobby why not extend that tot he room.....limited restaurant availability, however, good food. Expensive for family breakfast.....Ended up spending another $100 just on extras.

I've stayed at the hotel before and things have changed. The room was fine but hallways and main floor bathrooms were freezing. I actually saw an elderly woman come out of a main floor bathroom shaking complaining about the cold. The bathrooms next to the small conference rooms were also just as cold along with having no soap that worked and only cold water making it miserable to be in there. The coffee shop was understaffed, I saw quite a few people walk out because the line was so long and the wait for a coffee drink to way to long. When I finally got my drink it was wrong but they did offer remake it, I just couldn’t wait for it to remake it. Lastly, I was on a two night stay and when my room was cleaned the coffee was not refilled nor clean glasses brought in forcing me to go to the restaurant for coffee rather than having it in my room. Overall, room was good and the restaurant was nice but the overall stay was only disappointing and not very enjoyable.

Nice place... but

Nice place but it is a convention center. This particular weekend was TSA convention . Technology and Science Academy had 1500 Junior High Students. The swimming pool was over capacity with 13 year olds. The fitness room over capacity. The room was quiet and priced right but we travel as a family for the pool and fitness amenities; we could not enjoy those. I would stay there again if it were adult convention. Too many middle school aged kids.

Has promise, but...

This hotel looked a lot nicer from their Website. It wasn't bad, just underwhelming. The room was small, the bathroom smaller. Just one restaurant on site. The service was very, very good, though. I think with some updating, this could be a nicer place.

Did the trick

I found that the hotel was cold and I could warm up the room even with blasting the heat. Since the hotel is isolated, you had to do room service and the menu was imposible to find.
