Nice Location, Shuttle service from airport

Posted May 30, 2015
Pros: Comfort Location
Located by the old Denver Stapleton Airport area. Location is a nice area. Would suggest grabbing a rental car from the airport if you need since the two close locations to the hotel do not have that many vehicles. Nice comfortable hotel to stay at.

Way Beyond It's Prime

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: Lobby
Cons: Overall condition of the building and rooms are extremely worn.
Location: Close to the old airport, plenty of place to eat.
We checked into the hotel around 11:30pm after a LONG day of fly fishing and driving down the mountains in fog/snow. We were impressed with the cleanliness and update of the lobby. However, it was short lived when we entered our room to find the carpet soaking wet, hair in the bathroom floor and shower, outlets for charging not working and an overall "worn out" feeling of the room. Upon checking out, the gentleman did not ask about our stay but I told him about our disappointment. To Doubletree's credit, a manger was standing right there and asked if there was anything she could do to make it right? We told her we were fine but they needed to be aware of the condition of the rooms.

Great room and great staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a Denver hotel close-ish to the airport.

Most disappointing travel experience

Posted May 15, 2015
Cons: A lot of changes need to be made. from cleanliness to staff.
Location: Denver Zoo, museums, beer tour
The hotel was not what it was made out to be on the internet. They show you updated nice rooms and when you get your room it's like your caught in a nightmare from the 1970's. Room was not clean, very dusty and floor was dirty. Linens only changed once in 6 days, sweeper not run. glasses with ice bucket were dirty and we left them to take and bring back something new and all they did was wipe out the dirty glasses and put them right back. very upset about the fact that we had to look at dirty room service dishes, glasses, trays and trash in the hallway outside our room everyday that we were there. at one point they laid there for 3 days without anyone doing anything at all about it. inconvenienced for a cup of tea at the restaurant. just not an overall good experience. we will not stay at any Hilton run/owned property again.

This hotel is very convenient with a free airport shuttle. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The mountain view are great.

Inconvenient

Posted May 11, 2015
They give you a list of 'complimentary' items available to you in your room...no where to be found. The bathroom had a horrible smell even before we had a chance to use it. No microwave or mini fridge available. Very inconvenient hotel if traveling with babies or young kids. i understand you want people to purchase and dine at your hotel but then have a 24/7 Cafe available to those checking in later in the evening or early mornings. Disappointed. Will not be staying here the next time we're in Denver.

Infrequent traveler

Staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. I arrived late, along with several people who had missed their flights. The front desk staff was friendly, witty and provided everyone there with everything they needed for their stay. The beds and pillows were Hilton quality and extremely comfortable!
