Close to airport

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean and it is close to the airport.
Cons: Smiling & helpful staff would be nice
I contacted the hotel by email a week before my arrival with questions about late arrival and shuttle service - never heard back, I ended up having to call them from Philadelphia once I'd arrived in the US. Instructions to meet the shuttle were not clear and I missed it. Since they only operate hourly I had to get a taxi as it was late at night and I was tired after long hours of travel. The staff at reception were unfriendly and unhelpful In contrast the shuttle driver who took me back to the airport next morning was extremely pleasant

A Change for the Worse

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Cons: Hiring friendly staff and a manager who cares about customers would be an excellent start.
This hotel was previously a Sleep Inn, and I wish it still was. There have been several changes since it has become an Econo Lodge, all for the worse in my opinion. The airport shuttle used to run every 30 minutes, and now it runs once per hour. More importantly, the sole reason I used this hotel was to park my car there while I was gone. This was cheaper and more convenient than parking at the airport. Although parking is still advertised on Expedia, I was told by the desk employee that I could not park my car there while I was gone. This used to be an extra that one could pay for in addition to the room, so I was willing to pay but they no longer offered this service. When I complained, she went to the back room to speak with the manager. She returned to tell me, "you can leave your car here, but the hotel is not responsible for anything that happens to it." She said this is a menacing tone, so I had to ask her multiple times whether or not they would have it towed after I left. She finally said they would not call a tow truck. Through all of this the manager never bothered to come out to speak to me. While this is no luxury hotel, I still think that decent service and honest advertising are something every business can handle. If you just want to stay overnight and drive away in the morning, perhaps this hotel will work for you. If you plan to use the parking services or the airport shuttle, I strongly suggest staying elsewhere!

Cheap and OK

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: cheap, great staff
Cons: You get what you pay for, I was pleased with what I got for the price.
Location: It is close to the airport and not much else. There are a few fast food joints in the area.
Staff were great, there were no problems. My room smelled like a small room where people continuously smoked cigarettes, which is exactly what it was. I asked for a smoking room and that is what you get. No worries, I opened the window and lit up a cigar which actually made the room smell better!

Decent place to stay!

Room was clean and comfy. Certainly meets all basic requirments. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was minimal but no issue with that. Wireless Internet service sketchy and slow. Dropped the connection several times. Overall though thumbs up.

Pros: Location, price
Cons: Breakfast was skimpy

A decent hotel in a nice area. Lots of restaurants, a Starbucks, and Wal Mart close by. Easy freeway access, 20 min to Coors field in rush hour. Will stay again.

This was the best deal I found for an airport hotel. It's within walking distance of some restaurants and a 7-11. It's clean and quiet and there is a free shuttle to the airport. Most important, the wakeup call and shuttle were both on time :)
