I booked online for a pet friendly room and whenI came to check in, there was people huddled up in the front door and the night agent on duty gave me a room on the 4th floor and didn’t even double check to see I specifically requested a pet friendly ground floor room. AND Then after reading online that they do not charge fees for service animals- he had the audacity to tell me that I have to pay cash for “pet” fees after I told him MULTIPLE TIMES she is my service dog. I really had a horrible stay that one night and I’m looking into different hotel options the moment I finish this review.

Very good location, the bed was good but that’s all. Didn’t feel very safe, loud at night. Wouldn’t stay there again.

No one monitored the front desk so random dodgy people wandered in and out. There was no remote for the TV and the front desk area seemed unsafe and there was no in room communication with the hotel attendants that I didn't go ask for one

Blood on the mattress and mattress pad cover. No lock on the window to the room on the second floor. Lots of homeless people all over. No remote control for the TV. The door to the toilet and shower area was unacceptable. No hinges no slider. No knob no lock the lock on the door. It’s self to the room. Was missing part of it. The heater/air conditioner was barely hanging on the wall with some kind of a caulking.

I have photos but can not load here. 1. Upon checking in, without giving the gentleman my card, after asking my name he said your card was declined. I asked how could that be? I booked through Expedia and it was already paid. He said, I don’t know but it’s been declined, can you pay now? I said no, let me call Expedia and all of a sudden my card was “good” now. Shady. 2. The room had blinds warped from the sun, no way to close them for privacy even if the handle to close them were attached. Lamp supposed to be attached to head board was hanging and supported by two wires twisted together and they were live! Electrical danger beyond imagination. There was a hole the size of a suitcase in the boxspring side. No tv remote. Only one towel and no maid service to provide an extra one or even on for the floor or even a wash cloth. 3. The area is literally overrun with homeless. No type of security to prevent them from loitering in the lobby even. Not the homeless fault, but I walked over to Applebees to only be approached by 3 different individuals asking for money. Applebees has to lock the restrooms to keep them out. I can’t describe how many in this area. 4. The photos on the Expedia website do NOT match the hotel. This honestly was impossible to stay. I knew I could not get a refund so out of my pocket I got a room at another new hotel a few blocks away. Secured entry and away from the highway interchange for I25 and 120th. Do NOT stay here!

Terrifying experience
I have never felt more unsafe in a hotel. The swing guard bar was broken off and we had to slam our door for it to actually shut so the deadbolt would engage. There was constant screaming and fights in the hall, other rooms, and it didnt stop all night. There was random homeless people walking through the halls all night. I was so afraid I barely slept. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Meh but the price was right
The bed and bedding was super comfortable and the tv channels had plenty of variety. The heat worked fine and I was comfortable. The toilet ran all night to the point I just shut off the water to the tank the shower floor was sloped really hard to the drain and it was near impossible to get good footing. The remote was broken and I had to control the tv from the tv. The coffee pot worked but the tray for the filter and grounds didn’t go to the maker so no coffee on a bad hangover sucked. There were quite a few strange individuals hanging out in the hallways and one of them ended up being arrested the next morning. For me it was perfect. I drink too much and the Uber to my house would have costed more.

The property was unclean to the point that i asked for a refund immediately after seeing the room. I was told no refund unless i get one through Expedia where i booked the room. This property needs different management

Sketchy. No TV remote. Went to front desk to ask for one. Gave us one and said if it didn’t work to call. It didn’t work, tried to call and the phone didn’t work. Went back to the desk. They sent a maintenance man with a different remote that worked and a phone that still didn’t work. The light over the sink didn’t work. There was a drunk outside the front door. Someone came to the door looking for the plunger. Run down. Would not recommend.

This property is not well kept at all. The front desk staff was super friendly but the rooms were very dirty. There were stains on the bed, lamp shades, and miscellaneous things smeared on the walls. We did not stay due to the condition of the room.

So the whole area has a bad wrap, but since being under new management, this Hotel is making it work. Management was very reasonable and friendly. It's an older property but they are doing great with it. Often times this is one of the more affordable places. Not a super high end joint, but not the dive it could be! Reasonable rates for reasonable accommodations. I appreciate this place keeping rates down and WILL be staying here again without concern!
