close to the airport before an early flight

Posted Mar 17, 2014
mostly very nice, but had ants by the pool and my daughter found one in her bed in the morning. They were very apologetic, but since we booked our reservations on Expedia they couldn't give any discount.

Brand new hotel, nicely decorated rooms

Posted Mar 11, 2014
My family and I stayed for one night on our way back from Vail to Panama. We stayed at two rooms next to one another. The hotel is located close to the airport and has a reliable free shuttle service. The shuttle took us to the airport at the promised time and the driver was very kind and helpful. The hotel is new and the rooms were comfortable , good sized and nicely decorated. The hotel does not have a restaurant but local restaurants delivery is available plus the Courtyard Marriott is half a block away. Also, there is a Ruby Tuesday close by. The only negative comment I can make is that we requested a wake up call at 5am and we never received it.

Overnight stay

Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Fix elevators ASAP.
Had a friend fly in for an overnight stay so we stayed close to the airport. Hotel staff was nice. They booked my room on the 3rd floor. Would've been great except the elevator was being repaired. My room was right next to the broken elevator. Had to walk to the end of the hall and then walk back towards the middle of the hotel to my room. That was a bit of an inconvience. Knowing I had to take the stairs at the end of the hall, I parked towards the stairs and the key scanner was not working to get into the end entrance. Had to walk all the way back to the front entrance, walk to the end of the hall and then back to the middle of the hotel to my room. Whew! I didn't know I was going to get a workout while I was staying there. Room was nice but it smelled of a burnt tire. Looks like the hotel was going thru a makeover. Stay would've been great except for my "unexpected journey" and my Indy 500 smelling room.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sincerely for the inconvenience of the main elevator being down. There was an issue with it and we had to take it out of service for the safety of our guests. I have looked into your other concerns and have ensured that they were addressed. I am very pleased that the staff was friendly . I hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Great place close to airport.

We stayed here before a morning flight home after a week at Vail. It was so much easier driving down from the mountains the evening before the flight. We were even able to ski at Keystone before coming all the way to Denver.

Close to Denver Airport

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Convenience, value.
Location: Close to the airport. Local restaurant availability is weak.
I needed an airport hotel because of an early morning flight. Fairfield was great. Convenient, comfortable and good value. As usual the breakfast was also fine.

Excellent!!!

I stayed here with my daughter and my older son the night before my sons flight. The shuttle took us to the airport in the morning and back to the hotel after his flight took off. The staff at this hotel was super friendly but not fake. I felt they were truly eager to help us with all our needs!! The room was very clean, beds were very comfy, and linens smelled fresh, not bleachy. The pool and hot tub area was clean and the towels were soft not scratchy!! Overall, this place was great!!

Nice hotel that allows parking for DIA

Posted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Earlier grab and go breakfast options
Location: Very close to the Denver airport and provided shuttle service.
The Stay and Fly was a great deal that allowed for free parking for up to a week when flying out of Denver. My only issue was that we had an early flight and rode the shuttle at 5am to the airport. The breakfast wasn't offered until 5 am even though muffins and yogurts were within site and unavailable. I think it would have been easy for the hotel to offer a grab and go before 5 am.
