in denver i would have a GPS to help get around i like the zoo in denver it is a good place to spend a day if have time

geting around in denver can be hard it is good to have a GPS

if like plays the art center downtown is nice but would not drive down there if i could do RTD or the light rail if you can

“Great attention to details”

We were really pleased with everything about the Hampton Inn at Cherry Creek. Worth mentioning are the special details that made us feel that the staff was looking for the smallest detail to increase our comfort and experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with daily variety, afternoon cookies and water, etc. Next highpoint was the location ... just next door was a Wholefoods Market, Starbucks, Barnes & Nobel, and other excellent mid-range restaurants. We'll be going back to Denver and fully expect to return to the H. Inn.

“Best hotel and service I ever had!”

Everyone at Hampton was SO friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the breakfast was awesome, and it was a great experience! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My mother was travelling with me and she has special needs. The whole staff was caring and truly tried to meet her every need. Our room was very spacious and clean, with easy access to all the services. Thank you Hampton!

“Nice visit, large suite”

We stayed at the Hampton Inn while in town to go to a concert at the Soiled Dove Underground venue. The suite was bigger than we expected. They had pillows of different firmness. And a kitchenette, which we were not expecting. Only drawback was that it was harder to find restaurants that were not Mongolian BBQ or iHOP, McD's, etc.

“Conveniently located and very comfortable”

I was in Denver for a job interview and I had forgotten to pack extra copies of my resume. No problem. I printed some copies in the Business Center (essentially a tiny room with a computer, printer, and some FedEx shipping supplies) with no hassles. Next door to the business center is a small indoor pool and jacuzzi and next to that is a room with 3 or 4 treadmills in it. My room had two queen beds, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a good-sized bathroom with a curved shower curtain rod. If I hadn't had to rush off to my interview in the morning, I would have lingered over breakfast. They serve fresh fruit, cold cereal, hot waffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, English muffins, donuts, and more. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby: Starbucks and Barnes & Noble are next door, Whole Foods market is a 5-minute walk away, Las Delicias Mexican restaurant is across the street, and there are plenty of fast food chain restaurants (Arby's, Chipotle, Black Eyed Pea, Domino's Pizza, etc.) within a 10-minute drive down South Colorado Blvd. The area seems safe, and the hotel was just a 30-minute drive from the airport in decent weather. The only negative thing about the trip was that when I woke up to 2-3 inches of snowfall on the day I left, the streets had still not been plowed by 8 AM and driving was dangerous. (I guess I've been spoiled by Boston snow crews.) It took a full hour to get to the airport, but of course that's a complaint for the City, not the hotel.

Getting around

Visitors will absolutely need a car, as the public transportation system is not as extensive as, say, New York's or Boston's.

If you like jazz, try Dazzle (downtown) for top-rated artists.

“Such a great experience with this Hotel!”

Was very, very, very pleased with this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helped with all needs desired. We traveled with 5 children so the demands sometimes were high!!! The hotel was immaculate and the breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to others and plan on staying here on any future trips to Denver. The convenience of it being close to Cherry Creek Mall was great. Thanks Hampton Inn-Cherry Creek for making our vacation so enjoyable!!!!
