“Smooth Sailing”

I high;y recommend the Hampton Inn on Sherman! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My favorite part was breakfast every morning and the complimentary coffee and tea all day! Breakfast had something new every day and it was really good. The location was perfect, right downtown with easy access to I25 and I70, but it wasn't noisy at all. Nice quiet little street.

“Excellent Hotel - Fantastic Location!”

We had an excellent stay! The hotel was new, clean, has a great breakfast, and you can't beat the location. We were able to walk just a few blocks to the heart of downtown activity. We will certainly be staying here again!!

“Clean, affordable, and within easy walking distance of most of downtown”

The hotel was clean, comfortable. Within 3 blocks of the 16th Street Mall and half mile of the Capitol, Mint, Art Museum, etc. Anything outside of walking distance can be easily accessed via bus/light rail system or bike rentals.

“Very pleasant hotel”

Very friendly and pleasant staff, nice rooms, no problems. It's a little out of the central downtown area so plan on a bit of a walk to get to the convention center. It was worth it for the much more reasonable rate than the fancy downtown hotels -- plus an excellent hot and continental breakfast spread. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Getting around

If you go on a weekend, don't pay for the parking at the hotel. Parking on the street by the hotel is free Saturday and Sunday. There is also a parking lot right next to the hotel with a cheaper daily rate.

Staff was very nice. They allowed us to check in at 8am, which was very nice after 14 hour drive.
