“Denver”
Not enough staff. Very slow to deliver food for breakfast. Waited 50 minutes for food
“Acceptable, could be cheaper”
The Front Desk Woman was friendly and the lobby is very fancy, though the room is standard Holiday Inn ensemble. But oh well, I wasn't expecting spa treatment. The air conditioner is right next to the bed and it ran all night long, which was a little annoying because I didn't know how to turn it off. I wish it were a little cheaper since it's just a plain old Holiday Inn.
“Dirty in Denver”
The Hotel was fine, but someone needs to speak with the cleaning staff. The room was dirty and there were even ashes in a glass that was left as a clean glass. Our room was non-smoking, but smelled of smoke. The room was comfortable otherwise, but needed a good cleaning!
“Too hot to sleep”
Two things bothered us. You can't adjust the room heater well. We wanted stay cool (60 F) at night, but it stayed at 71 F all night. The bed was too hard to sleep comfortably even though they had a fancy gadget to adjust bed softness.
“Won't go back”
The hotel was packed due to a Baptist convention in town. It took 30 minutes to check in. We were provided two keys - one did not work. We had reserved a room with double beds - our room had a king size bed. It took another 20-30 minutes for them to find another room - it was a handicap room but did have double beds. For our inconvenience they did provide us a free dinner. The rooms were clean and I did like the sleep number bed. The hotel is not nearly as close to the airport as I was led to believe on this website. It's about 15 miles away and it took us 30 minutes on the shuttle.
“PLEASE DONT STAY HERE”
This hotel is not where you want to stay. The neighborhood is very ghetto and not safe. The hair dryer did not work and the sink and bathtub did not drain. I felt like i was taking a shower in the ocean. I was also woke up at 8am on sunday morning by the maid walking in my room.
“Two Fire Alarms in One Night!!!”
At 1:45 am the fire alarm went off and my wife and I carried our children down the stairs from the 8th floor. At 6:30 am the fire alarm went off again! We spoke to the front desk and learned the first fire alarm was due to a system malfunction and the second alarm was from the employee break room due to burning toast! Needless to say we did not get much sleep and were not happy with our experience at the Holiday Inn! With that said the hotel was clean and in good condition. The employees were nice and friendly, but it is tough to give a great review when you experience two fire alarms in one night!
