This 12-story Magnolia Hotel occupies a 1911 bank building, considered Denver's first “skyscraper.” The 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian-friendly outdoor mall with department stores, boutiques, restaurants, and casual cafés, is one block away. The Colorado Convention Center is three blocks away.
In addition to complimentary breakfast and cookies, guests have access to Harry's Bar and The Lounge for drinks and appetizers. Starbucks offers coffee and pastries.
The hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 250-seat Magnolia Ballroom, which is in a separate building across 17th Street. On-site self parking and valet parking are available (surcharges).

The 12-story Denver hotel has 246 guestrooms with city or courtyard views. Beds are outfitted with abundant pillows, premium linens, and high-backed headboards in dark wood. Rollaway beds are available (surcharge). Coordinating entertainment armoires contain 37-inch high-definition LCD TVs with satellite channels, including ESPN, pay movies, and video games (surcharge).
Other furnishings include extra-large desks with granite tops, armchairs, and potted plants. Rooms provide complimentary wireless Internet access, multi-line phones, bathrobes, and designer toiletries.

The Magnolia Hotel Denver serves a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet 6 to 9 AM Monday through Friday, 7 to 10 AM Saturday through Sunday, and late-evening cookies and milk 8 to 10 PM every day.
Harry's Bar - Colorful, retro-mod lounge featuring cocktails, appetizers. Popular spot for after-work drinks.
The Lounge - A lobby bar with complimentary beer and wine reception 5:30 to 6:30 PM with couches, armchairs, a library, and a pool table.
Starbucks - Coffee drinks, pastries, and snacks. Open 5 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Saturday, and 7 AM to 2 PM Sunday.
Recreation
Guests have secured 24-hour access to Magnolia Hotel's fitness center, which includes a spacious lobby, cardio equipment, weight machines, strategically placed televisions, a sauna, and women's and men's locker rooms.
A bicycling and running path runs along Cherry Creek, five blocks away. The South Platte River, popular for whitewater rafting and kayaking, is accessible about one mile northwest of downtown. Bike paths and parks line the river.
The 314-acre City Park, less than five miles from downtown Denver, is home to a golf course, tennis and horseshoe courts, playgrounds, two lakes, and sport fields. The Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature and Science are also located there.
Summit County, a little more than an hour west of Denver, offers four popular ski areas: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. Vail is 100 miles west of Denver.

“Great boutique hotel atmosphere”
I usually prefer b&bs, but decided to give the Magnolia a try. Wonderful! The friendliest staff I've encountered at a hotel, polite service, delicious nightly milk and cookies (I expected store-bought cheap cookies, these were warm and seemed home-made), and beautiful public spaces that patrons actually used! Nice sized room with a huge window. Very quiet, must have really thick walls that cut down on noise from other rooms. The temperature of the room was perfect and even the ventilation was quiet. I've rarely been so impressed with a hotel's design and atmosphere. The staff really seemed to want me to be happy. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it.

great hotel. the only criticism that i have is that they don't have early checkins. also they only have 2 drawers for clothing. if two people stay in one room, that isn't enough space.

My husband and I were really pleased with the Magnolia hotel. The service was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and it's located near shopping and restaurants. We both agreed that we'd stay there again the next time we go there to visit.

Loved the look and feel of the hotel. We had a great time downstairs with the pool table and checkers/chess table. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! Great location - close to everything! The entire staff was very friendly!

The location was very convenient for shopping and dining downtown. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Large, clean rooms (suites); friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic hotel located in close walking distance (a block or two) from 16th street mall. Nighttime cookies and milk were a great treat. Definitely will stay here again next time I'm in Denver.
“Wish we could have stayed longer”
Went to Colorado as a family vacation with our 2 daughters in their early 20's. Hotel is located 1 block from the 16th street mall. Staff at the Magnolia was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were a good size with heavy entry doors, didn't hear another person in the hallway at all. Very clean, nice bathroom. Only negative comment would be a noisy fan as part of the ventilation system. The Club room downstairs was spacious, comfortable, with varied seating and pool table area. Full breakfast, happy hour, and cookie and milk buffet were available there. Hotel shuttle was available to take us to the Botanical Gardens/Art Museum. Would definately stay there again! Great value for the money!
