Good location

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: Good location
Good location in the heart of Denver. Near the 16th street mall and convent to offices, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Breakfast was provided and was nicer than most hotel breakfasts. Room was clean and modern with a good bed and nice bathroom.

Private Boutique hotel, like a B&B

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: We liked that the breakfast was included, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern.
Cons: If you say you have black-out drapes, please make sure that the room is indeed blacked out. In the next upgrade, perhaps more exterior soundproofing.
Location: Located in downtown Denver, this is walking distance to many restaurants, the convention center, university classes, and light rail transit.
This period hotel has character, remodeled modern rooms, welcome wine and breakfasts. The staff is professional and efficient with a smile.

Very comfortable and reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay in Denver and this hotel during the conference. Just five minutes to the Conventional Center on foot. I want to use this hotel at my next stay in Denver!

Staff was great but room needed some serious updating. Carpet had a pucker you could have tripped over and shower tiles were mildewy. Bed was very comfortable

Great staff, dated facility.

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: The staff worked hard to be accommodating.
Cons: Cleanliness in the bathrooms, the mattresses are rock hard, the hotel needs major updating and attention.
Location: In the heart of downtown. 16th Street Mall location was great for restaurants.
This hotel has great potential, but was disappointing. It is undergoing a renovation, which will likely resolve the issues we encountered while on a business trip. Dated décor, rooms needing repair (ceiling damage, lots of wear and tear), and sporadic internet service. The street noise is significant, even 6 floors up, so just be aware of that. The staff were very helpful and strove to assist us whenever we needed it. However, I would likely not stay here again.

Good location. Trendy spot to stay.

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Location and the breakfast in the morning, happy hour in the afternoon and cookies and milk in the evening were all a nice touch.
Cons: The employees probably need a reminder to get off their cell phones. They are at work, not at home or on break.
Location: Central location near everything you want to do while downtown.
Hotel itself is good. Had to stay two nights for business. Had to remind myself I'm smack in the center of downtown so there was a lot of outside noise, sirens, drunk people yelling, etc... Had nothing to do with quality of hotel rather than location. If you want a quiet location, don't stay downtown. The ladies at the front desk who checked me in were very nice. The valet was on his cell phone when I drove up and he never hung up even while talking to me. Obviously, I wasn't going to let him park my huge truck in the small parking garage since he couldn't be bothered to hang up the phone. I parked myself. Also, some other guests who were staying there for the same event as I, had their car parked with valet and wanted to retrieve an umbrella from their car since there are no courtesy umbrella. The valet told the guest they could go get it themselves. Granted, this isn't the Brown Palace or Broadmoor but a little more courtesy from the first people you see would be nice. People at front desk and at the happy hour made up for the valets behavior.

Excellent hotel

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Staff is wonderful. Hotel is stylish and clean.
Location: Right in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to most attractions.
I stayed here (my 2nd time) for the night after my bachelorette party downtown Denver. The staff was all wonderful, especially Jeffrey, the guy who kept having to bring us room service, and Staci, the concierge. I love this hotel and will recommend it to all my friends and family.

Older style - but it's got everything.

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Location, quiet atmosphere, staff
Cons: Wifi
One night stay over. Magnolia is an older style quiet hotel in a great historic downtown location. Despite its age its got all the modern amenities expected. Excellent staff. There were a couple of wifi hitches, on of which required the time consuming involvement of their external provider to rectify.
