Front desk lady made me feel welcome.

Pros: Clean, great location, courteous staff.
Location: Close to Oak Light Rail station, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Colonial Mall and major access routes.
We enjoyed our two night stay at the Marriott - the hotel was clean, in an excellent location and the staff were very accommodating and courteous. However, on the second night of our stay our sleep was disturbed on at least three occasions by very noisy wedding attendees on our floor - they were banging doors and shouting between 2230 and 0230. We complained at the lobby the next morning and apparently there had been several other complainants about the same issue.

Nice Hotel in Convenient Location

Cons: It is a rip off to not get Marriott points for the room reservation if booked through Expedia.

Location: All good
Nicest part of our whole vacation was at this hotel. From check in, to pool staff, to housekeeping. Everyone was nice and helpful.

4th of July weekend

I booked out double room (for two adults one 14yr old and one 9yr old) and prepaid our room with Hotels.com. I was first told when by the girl at the desk that there were several phone calls ahead of me...that was not very friendly. Then she told me she just sold her last double room and that their rooms are on a first come first serve basis. They do not promise you any room you only request it. What??! Ok, I kind of get that but if someone prepays for a room and the receipt clearly says one double room the ages of my family. I was then told that because I booked with a discount site and not them directly I wouldn't ever have my choice of room. It's ypu a request. (I had checked both the marriott site and hotels.com site to compare the price they were the same) After all this the girl at the front desk said that that she would send a roll away up to the room. When the roll away got there it barely fit in the room. We couldn't get up from our bed without stepping on the next no bathroom or leaving the room because the roll away could only fit in the hall and my son slept in the chair in out room. After speaking with the manager she couldn't really do anything because all their rooms were sold out, she did take care of our breakfast which was nice. But next time I will stay at embassy suites.

Stop over from Denver airport to Vail

Location: Many restaurants and a Whole Foods Store.
We arrived very late, around 11 pm, but we're greeted with a smile. Our room looked nice, but within a few minutes of settling in, we saw crumbs on the night stand, desk and floor. We cleaned up as best we could. As we prepared for bed, we saw that the bathroom sink drain was badly clogged. It took more than 15 minutes to even try to use the sink again. It was late and we were tired. Once in bed, we could hear noise from the room next to us - tv, coughing, the sink, toilet. We were so annoyed after a long flight and the late hour. We also heard the neighbors alarm clock, tv, shower and phone conversation the next morning. In the morning, we found that the tub did not drain either. It was disgusting. Water was up to my ankles and it never drained out completely while we were in the room. Also, while in the shower I looked up and saw a vent that was filthy- thick with lint, dirt, mold -whatever it was, it wasn't clean. My husband opted out of a shower, but then had to shave in a sink that would not drain. I made a point to stop at the front desk to complain and was given a smiling apology and the offer of a free cup of coffee. We had coffee in the room, thank you.
