Affordable, clean, convenient, close to downtown

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Relative affordability. Free shuttle to many downtown locations. Free breakfast. Clean rooms.
Cons: The room, despite being clean, is in need of renovation.
Location: Just a few minutes from downtown. Nothing to do in the immediate area of the hotel, but you're here for downtown, and it's nearby.
This hotel is significantly more affordable than hotels downtown and is only about 5-10 minutes from the heart of Denver. The free shuttle is a huge plus (very efficient and convenient), the breakfast is varied and offers more options than other continental breakfasts I've seen, and the hotel has many amenities. The room itself was basic and clearly older; however, it was also clean and well-maintained. Hotel and breakfast/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Obviously, this hotel is not of the same caliber as some of the posh downtown hotels; if you can afford those, good for you, but for the rest of us, this is a clean, convenient, and affordable option. I'll definitely stay here if I visit Denver again.

Great hotel for down town adventures

Posted Jul 17, 2015
It was my son's 16th bday. We came from NM with three other teenage boys. We had four bikes. The staff was accomidating to us. The boys had a blast in the pool and the shuttle made getting downtown a snap.

Pros: The staff was very courteous and helpful.
Cons: The buffet and accessible to other acitivies/restaurants
Location: The location is in industrial area. They could give more access about restaurants and only amenities close or nearby.
he breakfast buffet could use more variety. The hotel could have listed more acrivities close or nearby; including restaurants.

Easy access to Denver sites

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Staff was great and super friendly. Hotel is clean, but old thus having a 'smell' in spite of the efforts to provide a clean environment.

Awful neighborhood

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Shuttle to town is a nice option to driving, but leaves hourly.
Cons: The location is the worst part of this hotel. No improvement possible. Could update tired furnishings.
Location: The location was in an industrial area near the freeway and was loud. Activities downtown are not far away, but you need to drive to be near anything.
The location is a 10 minute drive to downtown, and located in an industrial area. The neighborhood felt dicey, and the guy checking in before me had had copper wire stolen off his truck in the parking lot. There are no nice amenities nearby, no side walks, shops, etc. It is right next to the junction of two freeways and very loud. There was a shuttle to down town which was nice option. The food was adequate and there was a restaurant on site and a greasy spoon next door. The Staff was nice. The furnishings were tired.

Decent Hotel

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Location. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: The exterior is not very well kept and the parking was not real close to the entrances.
This property is a little dated but still kept in pretty good condition for its age. The staff was very friendly. It is a great value for the close to downtown location. Exactly what you would expect from the brand.

No microwave or fridge in room. Elevators slow or broke. Not very clean at all in general. Continental breakfast was disappointing. Not enough food for the people staying there. Ran out of items quickly. Sheets & towels old & not real clean feeling. Way too much cost for what you get. I won't stay again.

Visiting family in Denver

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Desk staff
Front desk staff were terrific! Maintence staff a little lacking. Shuttle driver stood out front ,smoking a cigarette and watched my grandson struggle to load our bags in the truck without offering a hand. Maybe it wasn't his duty but even a stranger would have offered a helping hand. Breakfast and dinner at the Palm grill were very, very good. Pool was clean and heated perfectly. Again maintence was lacking a gentleman hanging a sign left the hose running in the pool, allowing it to over fill while he texted on his phone. The buckets and trash cans, holding umbrellas by pool were an eye sore and could be replaced at minimum cost, making a world of difference. Sounds kinda picky but it's all in the details. Offering complimentary coffee ,by front desk was appreciated.( cream would be nice though) again, picky but dry creamer is really bad for you. Overall, the stay was great and I will return to stay again.
