Listed building overlooking park. Lose to town.Posted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: It was different and very homely
Cons: Our room was looking a little tired.
Location: Nice location overlooking fountain park. About 15 min. Walk into town or short taxi ride. Good restaurant across the park.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice large room, we were made welcome. Nice change from a run of the mill hotel. Breakfasts were great.

Beautiful B&B close to Downtown DenverPosted Oct 3, 2013
Location: Close to downtown, so an easy 20 min walk to the 16th St Mall and other attractions in Denver.
After lugging our bags to our room at the top of the stairs we were amazed at the stunning fresco of Aspen trees that was the feature of our high domed room. Breakfast was wonderful and we always love meeting people from all over the world while enjoying a delicious home-made breakfast. Being close to the downtown was a definite advantage and we walked to 16th St for dinner. The next morning we visited the beautiful Colorado State Capitol Building, again an easy 15 minute walk from the B@B.

Fun in DenverPosted Sep 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Queen Anne. We especially enjoyed talking to the owner/chef. The breakfast was excellent. You can easily walk to downtown Denver. We stayed in the Park room which was a very nice sized room on the 3rd floor. For guests that have difficulty in climbing stairs I would recommend the rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor. One of my favorite B&B's and we have stayed in numerous B&B's.

Wonderful atmospherePosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: All guests were able to mingle together around an enormous round breakfast table( or tables were set in the garden if the weather was OK) and chat.
Cons: Wouldn't have minded a larger breakfast - toast would have been nice but perhaps we should have asked for it instead of expecting some.
Location: parking is out back. It is only a few blocks to catch the free 16th Street trolley hop on/off. A few blocks from the Capitol and downtown.
An absolutely wonderful find! The rooms were quaint but comfortable. No TV-wonderful. Each evening between 5.30 - 7pm there is "happy hour" where everyone is offered free wine and local cheese.Tea/coffee are available as well and available during the day. We met some great characters from around the world whilst chatting. What a great way to meet people.!! There is no tea/coffee making facilites in the bedroom. Breakfast is different each day and is made by either the owner(who is a chef in his own right) or another chef. We had fabulous waffles one day and an amazing omlette the next.. Would definitely stay there again

Average score on service includes a 5-star rating for the afternoon manager and a 1-star rating for the morning cool/general manager, who acted like guests were an imposition at breakfast and served late both days we were there. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.
