Nice hotel close to event we were participating in

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Location to event.
We stayed on a Friday night and the hotel was a little noisy with people coming back to the hotel late from their social events.

For $99 per night you get your money's worth.

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: The location was fine. For $99 you get your money's worth.
Location: It's near the venues for bands.
The Kleenex dispenser was jammed so I had to shove a pen in to get the Kleenex out. One lamp over the beds was out. There was a bit of junk on the floor which indicates it was not as well vacuumed as it could have been. On the other hand, I had a great night's sleep. It was quiet and the room was dark. For $99 it was a good bargain.

Good location and good price.

The hotel is well located and priced well. There are restaurants within walking distance. They run a shuttle to anywhere. The place needs serious work, but I did not expect luxury at that price in a large city. The room was clean, large and everything worked. I would stay there again.

the room and desk attendent

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: That it was clean
Cons: I would take the sign off of the front door that says no public restrooms to start and to tell the front desk to greet people that come in as if they
Location: it was not a great location but could walk to places the above question did not give enough space need microwaves at least.
the room that they put me in the ceiling was coming apart from the walls and the wall paper was peeling off in the bath room the window coverings wouldn't open the bedding was dirty. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager and asked if they had a better room than the one I was in and he said yes and gave me a different room he knew there were problems with this room. I was disappointed that there was no microwave or fridge I booked on line and paid in advance when I showed up to check in the front desk guy didn't greet us I asked if I could use the restroom and he said are you staying here and I told him yes we have a room for tonight then proceeded to ask my name and I told him I needed to use the restroom and asked my husband to take care of it so I could use the restroom and the front desk clerk didn't even speak to me I thought he was very rude. I will not stay there again and not sure if I will use expedia again.Tess Edmundson p.s. also no screens on windows that open all the way and no continental breakfast even for the price of the room.

Dated

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Many homeless people. About a 10 minute drive to center city.
Mostly all of the staff at the hotel (with the exception of one person) was rude and inattentive. I stayed in a "non-smoking" room and the room absolutely reeked of cigarettes and dust. My TV remote was broken and had a piece of duck tape holding in one battery. I called the front desk to get some batteries and the staff told me they would send some one up. No one ever showed and this basically epitomizes the entire hotels service. The beds were stiff and the pillows looked like they were picked out of the trash. I was actually terrified to walk in bare feet around my room. The towels they maids left me were dirty (I found a long hair in one). The walls were paper thin as I could here guests in the adjacent rooms talking throughout the night. I was visiting Denver for business and I absolutely recommend you find an alternative hotel if you are traveling for similar reasons. Overall, this hotel needed a major upgrade in almost every aspect.

Overall Good Experience

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: The staff and proximity to everything needed.
Cons: Lighting in the halls and smell.
Location: Plenty of fast food, bars, quick access to needed items.
I originally chose this hotel due to its proximity to my class, but ended up being further away than I was led to believe. The hotel is not in the best of neighborhoods. Lots of panhandlers and homeless very close by. The area didnt bother me personally, but it did other people. The staff was top notch. Always very approachable and willing to help. My room was always extremely clean and tidy. The halls were pretty dimly lit, so it gave you the feeling of a cheap motel, but the decor was actually nice even though you couldnt really see it. It appeared that they had a couple of flooding issues because it smelled musty and wet my last two days there. There were also times that it smelled of smoke in the hallways, even though it was a non-smoking facility. The location was close to everything. Plenty of bars and food close by and only 1.5 miles from downtown, even though my initial findings had it listed at within a .5 mile. I have to admit that I have never had more First Responder vehicles passing by in all of my life. Every night, at least a couple of ambulances and fire trucks rolled passed with lights and sirens. It didnt seem to happen after 10pm, but from 3pm-10pm, it was pretty constant. One night had 7 emergency vehicles at various times. The street is definitely a hub of action and emergency vehicles were definitely part of it. I will say that I didnt have any difficulty in sleeping.
