Fun structure, good beds and bedding.

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Known quality and close enough to Denver International airport
Cons: New decor is a tad repeitive- why not vary the floors? It would have been far more stylish to introduce some variety
Location: Picked for hotel
Easy location and close enough to major airport. We booked as we missed our flight due to bad weather. Unfortunately we had to use Expedia instead of an 800 number as it did not come through

Employees were kind and helpful.

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: The friendly employees.
Cons: Bathroom could be painted and ceiling fixed.
Location: Location was convenient to downtown, and was near interstate.
The employees went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The night door man, Mohamed, was especially helpful. Alvin, a server, also had good tips about what to do in Denver.

nice staff not so clean room

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Staff were great but it's old and our room was moderately dirty. The bathroom wall and side of tub had an unknown substance on them and the floor was dirty. It's under construction. Ok stay for good price. But...Dining was wonderful and the restaurant staff were excellent.

Not near airport

I thought i was booking near Dia airport but turned out it was near the "old" Stapleton Airport now turned into a condo and commercial sector. Misleading in location.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay. As Denver’s main airport was changed only few years ago, we still are one of the closest options outside of the Denver International Airport, and we apologize for any misunderstanding. We hope that you will visit us again in the future.

Not bad, not awesome

Posted Dec 13, 2014
I'm sure that this place is nicer than most of the other options near the Denver airport, but I was expecting more than we got. The first room we were given smelled weird, and the TV didn't work. The second room's TV also didn't work! But then I gave it a hearty smack and it came to life. The staff was accommodating about everything, and one wonderful employee named Travis saved the day in particular. But don't go there expecting too much.

While we’re glad that our staff was helpful during your stay, it’s unfortunate that every aspect of your stay was not as it should have been. We are very sorry that you had issues with the televisions in your room. When something isn’t functioning as it should be, you can always reach out to our maintenance department; our staff is always here to help. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future, as we’re sure that your next stay will be better than the last. Thank you for your feedback.

Nice hotel but...

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Cons: Hotel a bit dated in hallways. Dark and unwelcoming lobby area. Free internet in rooms.
Location: Great shopping and dining in area.
Did not know hotel was in the middle of major construction around the lobby. Made elevator floors messy as well as walkways. Lovely breakfast free with booking in a wonderful area. Pool and hot tub quiet and relaxing. Parking rate fairly high compared to free parking at other hotels that I looked at. Bed sheets and towels were good quality and the room nice.

Taking a dip in the pool is always a wonderful way to spend leisure time and we’re glad that you enjoyed this amenity, along with our hot tub at the Renaissance Denver Hotel! We’re pleased that you found the linens in the hotel to be crisp and that you explored our local dining and shopping scenes. We apologize if the refurbishment of our front desk area effected your stay, but work should be completed soon. Rates are available that include parking and we hope that you will take advantage of one for a future stay, so you can enjoy the new amenities that the refurbishment will bring to our hotel. Thank you for your review.

Under construction

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: The burger on room service menu was excellent!!!
Location: Not close to great things. It's surrounded by ok things... (Restaurants, shopping, etc.)
The hotel is ok. There are renovations being done so it's not appealing to the eyes. Regular rooms are very small. Corner rooms have more space. The breakfast buffet is not available everyday, room service is not 24 hours, the shuttle stops running at 10 and the hotel is only close to a shopping strip. The shuttle only goes 5 miles from the hotel.
