Our stay was short but excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle to and from airport was fantastic.

Outstanding Hotel

From the room to the services provided to the food, the Renaissance Hotel provides a great hotel experience. Customer service is excellent. I was informed by the front desk that WiFi access was free during our weekend stay. When the $9.95 daily charge appeared on the bill, the staff immediately took it off and then added another free day of WiFi access for me. Free parking in the garage adds even more value to the daily room price.

Nice place staff lacking

The room was clean and nice size. Made reservations for 4, so there were only 3 towels, wash cloths etc even when I told them needed another they never got it there. They had coffee for 2 and had Togo down to front desk to get more. They didn't replace used shampoo the next day so had to just go without. And most importantly they charged my card $25 with out yelling me , just in case I uses any amenities. Takes 2 days after leaving for them to relieve funds and 2 more days for my bank to get my money back to me. Will find another place next time!

Wow - totally unexpected - in a BAD WAY.

Pros: The gift shop was open late that allowed for last minute souvenir purchases for office mates and the free breakfast on the club level.
Cons: The generally cleanliness of the hotel, especially the public areas could be improved, greatly. This IS a Renaissance, after all.
Location: We were only booked to stay one night with a flight out in the morning. There wasn't much time to research things to do.
Be forewarned, while this is Marriott RENAISSANCE property - they should probably reconsider the label. My wife and I took a trip to the Denver/Boulder/Buena Vista/Denver area with extended family. Having stayed in mostly Marriott properties and being pleased, we booked this hotel to be closer to the airport. However; it is a red hot mess and cannot recommend it to anyone. The location, while only 20 minutes from the airport, is not in a location where you'd feel safe parking your own car and walking back to the hotel. Even the valet lot left us feeling that our car was somewhat vulnerable to vandalism and potential theft. We would not have been comfortable leaving the property on foot. Additionally, while the interior had been recently renovated and the design esthetic was pleasing and comfortable, the upkeep and cleanliness in the public spaces hadn't been maintained. The lobby had a distinct 'disheveled' appearance - cushions on couches were well used - there was a thick layer of dust on tables and lamps and the elevators were in desperate need of vacuuming. Additionally, smoking took place on balconies and crept into rooms through sliding glass doors and the toilet kept running every two minutes preventing a good nights sleep.

Ok.... Not Impressed

Nice hotel Desk staff friendly & helpful Wait staff didn't come to us until called over. Service slow. The train went by every hour or so throughout the night. Sounded like the window was open it was so loud. Bathroom had hair on the floor.

Clean comfortable room. Great breakfast buffet. Close to airport with free shuttle. Staff very friendly.

rude !

I had a late check-in at 9:00 pm. When I arrived I gave the girl at the desk ( pretty sure her name was Anna) my confirmation information. She said she couldnt find my reservation. I had all my paperwork to show my payment- she said she couldnt find it and got annoyed that she had to make a new reservation for me. She asked if i paid online and I said yes and looked it up while standing there. I gave her the info and she proceeded to tell me it wasnt helpful. Lets not forget the rolling of her eyes. The hotel itself was nice but I will probably never stay there again - I had a long flight and the last thing i need is rudeness.

I got unexpected charges after I left. They charge for wifi which is ridiculous.
