Spacious Hotel near DowntownPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Spacious layout and easy accessibility. Friendly staff as well. Maintenance staff was on top of clearing off snow and ice off of the stairways
Cons: The walls might be too thin, but each building is only a handful of units and it really wasn't a huge problem.
A former Denver resident, I have known about the Residence Inn for a while as a former employer would usually this location to house temp employees. So I have always heard great things about it, but had never stayed here. After the usual staples I stay at were priced out very high this week I visited, I decided to give the Residence Inn a try and was very happy. The "penthouse suites" are very large, two levels, and feels nothing like a hotel. More like corporate housing. A full size kitchen was a great amenity, spacious living room and office space which worked fantastic for when I went to do my morning yoga, and a comfortable loft on the 2nd level with the bedroom and 2nd bathroom. Great for having people over to catch up on all the years you've been apart, without feeling cramped into a tiny room. Downtown location was ideal for myself, that could find myself either traveling up to Northglenn, or down to Littleton, or attending a hockey game on one of the nights. Easy in / out. I think this place is tops on my list for looking into first in future visits to the area.

Nice hotel that is close to everythingPosted Feb 27, 2014
Hotel staff was very polite. Each room does have its own hot water heater though, and it will run out if you stay in the shower too long.

A wonderful experiencePosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: The size of the room was delightful
Cons: Checkout. Staff apparently did not know how to use a gift card.
Location: Very conveniently located near downtown Denver.
All the basics (rsvp, room cleanliness, etc) exceeded expectations The bonus was the shuttle bus to downtown locations, with a cheerful and well informed driver.

Great Stay!Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Room for 6 comfortably. 2 bathrooms in the room!
Cons: Need to vaccuum and clean behind the Murphy Bed and Sofa Bed, but other than that, it was great.
Location: Pepsi Center nearby - complimenatary shuttle to and from our event!
We had 3 adults and 3 children and got the penthouse. Perfect fit for all of us. We were only there for one night, but would definately book again for longer stays. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable.

DisappointingPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: The room is visually very pretty. The mattress, couch and kitchen stools are comfy. The parking (in relation to the room) was very close.
Cons: Why is there a woodburning fireplace? If you have it for decoration then put something pretty in there like a flower arrangement or a pretty screen.
Location: Close by there are lots of places to eat and some grocery stores. The baseball, basketball, civic center and other like attractions are also close.
I've stayed at this hotel twice. Both times my room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The first time I stayed my room was cold and I could never get it to a comfortable temparture. The shower was also cold. The blankets on the bed were thin and the pillows extra, extra thick. I chalked the experience up to a 'whatever'. The second time I stayed I experienced the same things but worse. My room distinctly smelled of cigarette smoke and the water in my shower was warm for about 2 minutes. The bed linens were thin and the pillows were again, too full for comfort. I was able to get my room to a comfortable temperature (but it was also 20 degrees warmer outside on my second visit so it could be because it was warmer outstide).

Close to downtownPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, breakfast.
Cons: Add a nightlight in the bathroom. For more quiet, stay upstairs. We had some noisy neighbors.
Location: Close to LODO and jogging trail along the river. Easy access to the freeway.
The spacious studio with full kitchen met our needs this weekend. The room was comfortable and clean. The complementary hot breakfast gave us many options. We were able to walk to downtown so didn't have to worry about parking.

Great hotel close to downtown Denver activities.Posted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: The breakfast is above par.
Cons: It would be nice to have an indoor pool in a place like Denver where it is cold 8 out of 12 months of the year.
Location: The Pepsi Center, Mile HIgh Stadium, 16th Street Mall, Denver Art Museum and Elitches.
My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. It was very nice and included everything one would need for a stay. The bed was very comfortable. Soon after I got settled in, I received a call from the front desk asking me if everything was okay. The complementary dinner was very appreciated as we didn't have to run around looking for a restaurant before the concert we were to attend. The brownies were delicious! They also provided a shuttle to event that we didn't use. In addition the breakfast was very good. It included eggs, waffles, yogurt, danishes, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, juice and coffee. It was a great stay!
